Another ‘Troofer’ in the Entertainment Industry

“Troofer”:  An individual belonging to a group known as the 9/11 “Truthers”; a menagerie of wack-job conspiracy theorists who believe that either the government had specific warnings of the impending attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, or worse, that it was behind the attacks.

They can now add Willie Nelson to their ranks:

Willie Nelson appeared Monday, February 4, 2008, on the nationally-syndicated Alex Jones Show in a ground breaking interview where the country music legend said the twin towers were imploded on 9/11.

“I saw those towers fall and I’ve seen an implosion in Las Vegas — there’s too much similarities between the two, and I saw a building fall that didn’t get hit by nothing,” added Nelson, referring to WTC Building 7, which collapsed in the late afternoon of September 11.

Nelson said he was not surprised by the recent revelations concerning the impartiality of the 9/11 Commission — namely Phillip Zelikow, who has close ties to the Bush Administration.

“How naive are we — what do they think we’ll go for?” asked Nelson, pointing out that his doubts began on the very day of 9/11 during an appearance on the Alex Jones Show.

Willie joins the ranks of many celebrities who have spoken out to question the official 9/11 story on the Alex Jones Show, including such notables as: Charlie Sheen, Ed Asner, and rapper Paris.

Other celebrities who have questioned 9/11 include Ed Asner, Rosie O’Donnell, Martin Sheen, James Brolin, David Lynch, former Dallas Cowboys lineman Mark Stepnoski, actor Mark Ruffalo and many others.

Alex Jones is syndicated over the GCN Radio Network and airs on over 80 AM and FM stations across the country.

Jones has been called the father of the 9/11 Truth Movement and has produced several films on September 11th and orchestrated terrorism, including TerrorStorm and End Game. Both of these films reached the top 10 on Amazon’s best-selling list for documentary films.

It’s obvious Wille’s gone from smoking pot to smoking crack.

Scientists, architects, and engineers, including those who built the World Trade Center, have spoken up to debunk these crazy-assed theories and the loonies who embrace them.

The buildings did not “implode”, they collapsed under the weakening of the structures resulting from the jet-fuel-based inferno. Those planes were chock full of flammable material which in turn, caused massive fires to spread throughout the buildings.

There isn’t a shred of credible evidence to back up these claims 9/11 was an “inside job.” The so-called “evidence” is a loony theory made up by people who are so full of hate for this country they want to believe it attacked itself on 9/11.

Here are CREDIBLE sources that have debunked every single Troofer claim.  Popular Mechanics published a comprehensive, detailed, investigative analysis which dissects all of the myths and idiotic claims surrounding the attacks and the subsequent damage.

Just one of the points covered:

FACT: Jet fuel burns at 800° to 1500°F, not hot enough to melt steel (2750°F). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn’t need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength — and that required exposure to much less heat. “I have never seen melted steel in a building fire,” says retired New York deputy fire chief Vincent Dunn, author of The Collapse Of Burning Buildings: A Guide To Fireground Safety. “But I’ve seen a lot of twisted, warped, bent and sagging steel. What happens is that the steel tries to expand at both ends, but when it can no longer expand, it sags and the surrounding concrete cracks.”

“Steel loses about 50 percent of its strength at 1100°F,” notes senior engineer Farid Alfawak-hiri of the American Institute of Steel Construction. “And at 1800° it is probably at less than 10 percent.” NIST also believes that a great deal of the spray-on fireproofing insulation was likely knocked off the steel beams that were in the path of the crashing jets, leaving the metal more vulnerable to the heat.

But jet fuel wasn’t the only thing burning, notes Forman Williams, a professor of engineering at the University of California, San Diego, and one of seven structural engineers and fire experts that PM consulted. He says that while the jet fuel was the catalyst for the WTC fires, the resulting inferno was intensified by the combustible material inside the buildings, including rugs, curtains, furniture and paper. NIST reports that pockets of fire hit 1832°F.

“The jet fuel was the ignition source,” Williams tells PM. “It burned for maybe 10 minutes, and [the towers] were still standing in 10 minutes. It was the rest of the stuff burning afterward that was responsible for the heat transfer that eventually brought them down.”

If ‘troofers’ want something to rant about they can start with Bubba Clinton-era laws that forbade the CIA and FBI from sharing information which might have thwarted Mohammad Atta and his band of Islamic thugs.  Computer software at the airports identified many of the hijackers and threw up red flags before they even boarded the planes, but asinine political correctness prevented them from being scrutinized.

Moreover, intelligence agencies are comprised mostly of Ivy League liberals who do more harm than good.  Most have no military or tactical experience; very few spend any time embedded with the Army in austere places that require personal risk, or to witness the outcome of their analysis.

They take the ‘need to know’ basis to anal-retentive extremes; often refusing to share vital information that might put them all on the same sheet of music.  Cooperation is not their forte. The unwillingness to reveal sources is part of the problem.  Another idiosyncracy is the desire to take all the credit for success. If you have to share the glory, where’s the fun in that?

Note to the ‘troofers’: There’s so much real corruption, treason, and malefeaseance on the part of officials, the Democrats in particular, but all you tin foil hats can do is latch onto imaginary boogey men.

Put down the Kool-Aid. I know it’s difficult for you knee-jerk everything-is-a-government-conspiracy nuts to accept this but: Oswald was the lone gunman, there are no little green men, the levies were not blown up in Louisiana, and George Bush did not fly the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentegon, or the field in Pennsylvania.

These delusional clowns either don’t have enough cognitive skills to sort fact from fiction, or they’re seriously off their meds. It’s probably the latter.

  1. Ladies and Gentlemen,
The comment from “MrZevon” proves everything I’ve said in my post. These people are delusional, paranoid, and stuck on stupid. They ignore point by point refutation, mostly because their tin foil hats block ‘incoming transmissions’. They’re so frightened of debate, they don’t even provide real
e-mails. Zevon’s “a@a.com” mail is par for the troofer course.
Cognitive skills, common sense, and sane reasoning are not their forte.
Zevon, take your meds. You’re a waste of a zygote.

  2. There’s a reason the 9/11 Truth movement is growing: because the evidence is piling up that criminal elements in our government planned and executed the attacks.

Calling us “wack-jobs” doesn’t prove anything except your own fear. If you’ve got substantive arguments to make against specific points, then make them. If not, then don’t waste pixels.
