In return, Mexico has agreed to deploy 10,000 National Guard troops to its northern border to combat drug trafficking, specifically targeting the flow of fentanyl into the U.S. The decision comes as part of broader discussions aimed at addressing border security and illegal immigration, with additional talks scheduled to continue the dialogue between the two nations.
Trump puts America first and stands up to countries who slack off on their responsibilities.
