The FBI’s specialty is setting up innocent people. Who knew?
And they documented their malfeasance for posterity.
Congratulations @GenFlynn on your upcoming dismissal, exoneration, and winning lawsuit for malicious prosecution.
Handwritten notes that will live in infamy:
"What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?"

Explosive new internal FBI documents unsealed Wednesday show that top bureau officials discussed their motivations for interviewing then-national security adviser Michael Flynn in the White House in January 2017 — and openly indicated that their “goal” was “to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired.”
The handwritten notes — written by the FBI’s former head of counterintelligence Bill Priestap after a meeting with then-FBI Director James Comey and then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Fox News is told — further suggested that agents planned to get Flynn “to admit to breaking the Logan Act” and catch him in a lie. The Logan Act is an obscure statute that has never been used in a criminal prosecution; enacted in 1799, it was intended to prevent individuals from falsely claiming to represent the United States abroad in an era before telephones.
“What is our goal?” one of the notes reads. “Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
The bombshell documents strongly suggested the agents weren’t truly concerned about Flynn’s intercepted contacts with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, except as a pretext. Former President Obama personally had warned the Trump administration against hiring Flynn, and made clear he was “not a fan,” according to multiple officials. Obama fired Flynn as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014.
The Justice Department turned over the documents just this week, even though a February 2018 standing order in the case required the government to turn over any exculpatory materials in its possession that pertained to Flynn. Fox News is told even more exculpatory documents are forthcoming.
Flynn previously charged that top FBI officials, including McCabe, pressed him not to have the White House counsel present during the questioning with two agents that ultimately led to his guilty plea on a single charge of lying to federal authorities. One of those agents was Peter Strzok, who has since been fired from the bureau after his anti-Trump text messages came to light.
Flynn has withdrawn his guilty plea and has been seeking exoneration, saying the FBI engaged in “egregious misconduct.” Flynn, who now says he did not lie to the FBI, pleaded guilty in late 2017 as mounting legal fees pushed him to sell his home.
…….Strzok wasn’t the only top FBI official who apparently bent the rules in targeting Flynn. Comey admitted in 2018 that the fateful Flynn interview at the White House didn’t follow protocol, and came at his direction. He said it was not “something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in a more… organized administration.”
McCabe later said the interview was “very odd” because “it seemed like [Flynn] was telling the truth” to the two agents who interviewed him. Flynn, the interviewing agents told McCabe, “had a very good recollection of events, which he related chronologically and lucidly,” did not appear to be “nervous or sweating,” and did not look “side to side” — all of which would have been “behavioral signs of deception.”
……A Washington Post article published one day before Flynn’s White House interview with the agents, citing FBI sources, publicly revealed that the FBI had wiretapped Flynn’s calls with Kislyak and cleared him of any criminal conduct. It was unclear who leaked that information to the Post.
He has not faced any criminal charges.
Brady documents finally disclosed by the DOJ in General Flynn’s case reveal exculpatory evidence for Flynn. The documents are filed under seal, but attorney Sidney Powell said it reveals Flynn did not commit any crimes.
“The enclosed documents were obtained and analyzed by USA EDMO in March and April 2020 and are provided to you as a result of this ongoing review; additional documents may be forthcoming. These materials are covered by the Protective Order entered by the Court on February 21, 2018,” Shea’s letter to Powell states.
Sidney Powell has been fighting to get her hands on the Brady Material since she took over the case.
Powell also said that the documents produced found further misconduct by Mueller’s thug prosecutor Brandon Van Grack specifically.
“What else has the FBI buried,” said Powell to Sara Carter on Friday. “Where’s the original 302? And obviously some of the good agents are finally stepping up.”
Flashback: Comey bragged about violating FBI policy to frame Flynn.
Christopher Wray is no better than Comey.
Federal Bureau of Investigations Director Christopher Wray fought to prevent exculpatory evidence from surfacing in the case of President Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells Daily Caller.
New court documents were filed in Flynn’s case Friday containing the aforementioned exculpatory evidence, commonly referred to as Brady Material. Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, announced the new filing on Twitter. She has repeatedly accused the FBI and Justice Department of hiding evidence in the case.
“This afternoon, the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI,” Powell wrote in an additional filing. “The government has deliberately suppressed this evidence from the inception of this prosecution—knowing there was no crime by Mr. Flynn.”
“Since August 2016 at the latest, partisan FBI and DOJ leaders conspired to destroy Mr. Flynn,” she continued. “These documents show in their own handwriting and emails that they intended either to create an offense they could prosecute or at least get him fired.”
Mueller’s special counsel admitted that Flynn committed no crime.
Peter Stzrok and Lisa Page, the two former FBI love birds who texted each other about the ‘insurance policy’ and stopping Trump from becoming President, also conspired to meet with the federal judge overseeing the Flynn case.
Obama’s weaponized agencies engaged in systematic corruption and illegal activities to undermine the election and overthrow Donald Trump if he became president.
General Flynn should be exonerated and all charges dropped,
The FBI sat on exculpatory evidence while Flynn’s life was ruined, forcing him to spend millions in legal fees, and losing his home. Everyone involved in that criminal activity should be prosecuted.
