Under the agreement, Bolton will pay a $2.25 million fine and could avoid prison time, though a judge retains final sentencing authority; he originally faced up to 18 charges involving both retention and transmission of Top Secret/SCI material to unauthorized family members via personal email. He shared over 1,000 pages of national defense information with relatives via a personal email account that was subsequently hacked by an entity linked to Iran.
Fuck that asswipe. He belched bullshit about the bogus charges against President Trump and the classified documents at Mar a Lago, which were dropped.

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton……faces deep trouble.
Moreover, the ongoing investigation into Bolton’s alleged mishandling of classified information seems likely to embarrass his defenders in the establishment media and elsewhere — assuming, of course, that any of those deep-state tools have the capacity to feel shame.
According to The New York Times, U.S. intelligence officials gathered information on Bolton “from an adversarial country’s spy service.”
Furthermore, the classified information in question dates to Bolton’s tenure as National Security Advisor during President Donald Trump’s first administration.
…….Times reported that the data gathered on Bolton from that foreign spy service included “emails with sensitive information that Mr. Bolton, while still working in the first Trump administration, appeared to have sent to people close to him on an unclassified system.”
FBI agents raided the Maryland home and Washington, DC office of President Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton Friday morning in a high-profile probe of allegations that he sent “highly sensitive” classified documents to his family from a private email server while working in the White House.
Federal investigators went to Bolton’s house in Bethesda, Md., at 7 a.m. in an investigation ordered by FBI Director Kash Patel, a Trump administration official told The Post. Agents later went to Bolton’s office in downtown DC, but did not enter until a judge signed a warrant for that location late Friday morning.
“NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission,” Patel said in a cryptic post to X shortly after the raid began.
…….“He’s not a smart guy, but he could be a very unpatriotic guy,” President Trump told reporters of Bolton Friday morning. “We’re going to find out.”
Investigators reopened a dormant probe into Bolton’s alleged use of a private email to send classified national security documents to his wife and daughter from his work desk before his dismissal by Trump in September 2019, according to a senior US official.
“While Bolton was a national security adviser, he was literally stealing classified information, utilizing his family as a cutout,” this person charged.
The probe was initially opened in 2020, and continued into the Biden administration, which froze the investigation.
……..The latest probe spawned out of a separate criminal inquiry into Bolton from Trump’s first term over the ex-adviser’s alleged disclosure of national secrets in his 2020 book, “The Room Where It Happened.”
Justice Department officials who also served during the Biden administration purportedly told Trump officials that they had been “trying to prosecute this case for four years, and the [Biden DOJ] shut it down,” according to the senior official.
Investigators suspect the pause in the probe may have been motivated by the ex-national security adviser’s public political opposition to Trump.
……The Bolton raid comes one day after Patel revealed former FBI Director James Comey had authorized leaks of classified documents “while misleading Congress” just before the 2016 elections.
Patel has pledged to rid the federal government of corruption and expose cover-ups, especially related to the FBI’s investigation of collusion between the Kremlin and Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
BTW: While serving as President Trump’s National Security Adviser, crapweasel John Bolton was handed a classified memo detailing how former CIA Director John Brennan fabricated intelligence about Trump-Putin collusion. Despite receiving this information, Bolton did not brief President Trump on the memo’s contents. Instead, he stored the document in a National Security Council safe, because he believed the bullshit fabricated by Brennan.
Of course, the Never Trumpers are losing their minds over this, yet they cheered the unlawful raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Dems have committed some of the worst national security violations and they’ve yet to be held accountable.
Biden took boxes of classified documents from the White House to UPenn, Boston, Chinatown, and his garage. Some of those documents are dated from his time as Senator and contained Top Secret information.
Special Council Robert Hur refused to charge Biden because of his mental decay. Biden wasn’t suffering from dementia when he took the documents.
Hillary Clinton violated every security regulation in the fucking book. She and her staff knew what they were doing was illegal, so they deleted thousands of emails in an attempt to cover their tracks. She unlawfully used a private email server to transmit classified emails and lied about it before Congress. Obama ordered the shutdown of investigation into her crimes.
Clinton operative Sandy Berger stole classified documents from the national archives and destroyed evidence. He got off.
Former CIA Director John Deutsch took classified information home and stored it on his personal computer. He was pardoned by Bubba Clinton, who kept tapes in his sock drawer, sent classified information to his daughter, and stored Whitewater documents in a trunk of a damaged car.
The Obama Foundation admitted that they kept classified documents in a furniture warehouse.
James Comey, who is an unscrupulous douchebag, was part and parcel of Obama’s abuse of FISA and the conspiracy to undermine the election through false allegations and sedition. He also stole documents and leaked classified information when it suited his purpose.
I was an intelligence analyst for the bulk of my Army career. I had a TS/SCI clearance. If I had done a fraction of what these shitbags have gotten away with, I’d have been Court Martialed, given a dishonorable discharge, and thrown under Leavenworth.
No one is above the law.
All of them should be in prison.
