Leftwingnuts Villify Limbaugh Over Fluke Comments, Give ‘Comedian’ Maher a Pass For His Misogyny

Their double standard is SOP.

Current and former White House aides on Thursday rejected demands by a conservative group that a Super PAC supporting President Obama refund a $1 million check from comedian and talk show host Bill Maher because of coarse comments he’s made about Sarah Palin and other Republican women.

And trust me,  it’s filthy.

While Obama earlier this week denounced similar comments that radio talk show host made about a college student, Sandra Fluke, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters the president is not going to get involved in the Maher battle.

Carney said “language that denigrates women is inappropriate,” but it is not the President’s place to be the “arbiter” of every controversial statement.

Really? Obama placed a condolence phone call to Sandra Fluke, but not one of the Republican/conservative women who are daily targets of profanity-laced tirades from leftwing political commentators posing as ‘comedians’, got a call from Mr. Hopey-Changey.

……Earlier on Thursday, Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America sent a letter to White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew charging Maher is a “serially vile misogynist” because of a list of nasty comments directed at conservative women.

Nance noted that since Obama recently reversed his own opposition to Super PACs by giving his public blessing for Democrats to donate unlimited sums to Priorities USA Action, he should direct that the Maher contribution be rejected and tell top White House aides like David Plouffe to stop raising money for the group.

“As I am sure you understand, President Obama cannot put forth the eloquent position he announced on Tuesday, while sending administration officials out to raise money for an organization that not only counts a vile misogynist as its largest single donor, but whose executives actively boast about that vile misogynist’s support,” Nance wrote to Lew.

She wrote that the president needs to “publicly disassociate himself” from the PAC until they return the HBO host’s money, adding: “If Priorities USA prefers to donate Mr. Maher’s contribution to charity, my organization can recommend a list of charities that serve victims of domestic violence and abuse.”

Bill Burton, a former White House aide in the early part of the Obama administration who now runs the Super PAC, also said Maher’s comments have been “vulgar and inappropriate” but claimed it’s different than the comments from Limbaugh.

“The notion that there is an equivalence between what a comedian has said during the course of his career, and what the de facto leader of the Republican Party said to sexually degrade a woman who engaged in a political debate of our time is crazy,” Burton said in an interview on MSNBC. “There’s no similarity about what Rush Limbaugh said, lying about the argument that Miss Fluke was making, a law student at Georgetown, and what a comedian has said in the past.”
http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2012/03/08/pro-obama-pac-wont-give-back-mahers-money?

That’s bullshit on stilts, Burton.  Maher is a a pundit who presents venom and hate  as comedy, when in fact it’s political speech.   He’s in the public arena as spokesperson for the DemLeft.  He needs to own the comments he makes.  No similarity?  Maher is worse. Far worse.

Secondly, the “slut” comment notwithstanding, Limbaugh told the truth about Fluke’s bald-faced duplicity, which has been proven with subsequent reports of her motives and her contrived stories about unaffordable contraception.

As of yet, the Super PAC, an entity Obama once shunned as “a threat to democracy”, has refused to give back Maher’s donation.

    1. danielwalldammit,
      Clearly, I do. You don’t.
      Fluke’s victimology won’t cut it.

    1. danielwalldammit,

What I know are the facts: (from a previous post):
Georgetown Law Student Thinks Taxpayers and the University Should Foot the Bill For Her $3000 Contraception

(Sandra) Fluke has described herself as a third year law student at Georgetown University, and indeed, that is what she is. However, contrary to the narrative of innocent victimhood that portrays Fluke as a wide-eyed 23-year-old girl caught without contraception on a college campus full of predatory men, Fluke herself is really a 30-year-old women‘s rights activist who not only didn’t get caught without contraception at Georgetown, but specifically knew the university didn’t cover it and chose to attend for precisely that reason.

It appears that the poor little coed is actually a 30 year old who set this whole thing up as a publicity stunt. Big surprise.

      Secondly:
It’s all about choice. These women attend a catholic university not known for supporting birth control. Don’t like it? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Buy YOUR OWN insurance. NO ONE forces them to go there, and NO ONE should force the university to cater to anyone who wants them to give money for contraception.

If contraception coverage is placing too much of an emotional burden on you, then your studies aren’t that much of a strain.

I don’t care if Fluke and her collection of boyfriends bang every night like a screen door in a hurricane. I shouldn’t have to pay for her pregnancy prevention or any subsequent STDs.

I’d rather the government spay and neuter all those welfare queens and their “baby daddies”. THAT would be tax money well spent.

Any Georgetown student who isn’t satisfied with their health plan, should switch to one that covers their sex habits. Fluke and the Dems want to force the taxpayers AND a college institution to pay for it. That “reproductive health issues” crap is nothing less than a dog and pony show for Obama’s socialist government-mandated healthcare. Let her pay for her own contraception. I shouldn’t have to pay for anyone’s sex life, whether they use birth control or not.

The issue here isn’t whether or not women in this country have a right to obtain birth control. The point being missed by all of the “women’s reproductive rights” advocates is that we ALREADY HAVE reproductive rights. We can decide when or if we want children. Those options are available, and it damned sure doesn’t cost $3000.
Diaphrams, IUDs, and spermicide are cheap. As much as they tout Planned Parenthood, the Demtards never once suggested that Fluke and her gal pals pay them a visit and get all the inexpensive birth control they need. Just because Fluke is too goddamned cheap to walk into a CVS and get some spermicide, doesn’t mean she gets to stick us with the cost.
It’s a thinly veiled push for ObamaCare and a Health and Human Services mandate that forces every employer to provide employees with health coverage that not only covers birth control and sterilization, but makes them free. Only there is no such thing as “free”; taxpayers always foot the bill.

If Fluke needs birth control, I can send her MapQuest directions to the nearest Drug Mart.

      Cheers,

      1. That’s quite a pile of red herring you have trotted out there, Rush described her as testifying that she was having so much sex she needed the rest of us to pay the bill. That is not an accurate description of her testimony.

Now if you want to raise the other tripe, you are welcome to do so. Just to be clear, that is not in any way shape or form, a defense of what Limbaugh did.

His remarks were lies and you know it.

        1. danielwalldammit
That’s quite a pile of manure you just dropped to justify Fluke’s lies. Nice try, no dice. I watched the video. It was a publicity stunt and an epic fail.

Now, if you care to refute the facts I posted about Fluke’s patently false assertions vs cheap, affordable birth control, and the underlying push for ObamaCare, have at it.
By the way, I haven’t seen an apology from the Dems over the filthy remarks from their bloggers, radio hosts, and “comedians” about conservative women. Careful, your bias is showing.

If you’re going to make comments, own them. I always do.
