Soros-Backed NY DA Alvin Bragg Brings Bogus Indictment Against Donald Trump

‘The district attorney could get the grand jury to indict a ham sandwich if he wanted to’ — Judge Sol Wachtler

President Trump has been through the gauntlet of illegal and unconstitutional tactics by the Dems’ weaponized agencies. And he still remains unscathed.

First impeachment shitshow: Fail

Second impeachment shitshow: Fail

“Russian collusion”: Fail

Mar-a-Lago raid: Fail

This latest political stunt by leftwing Trump haters will fail as well.

He’s been indicted by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for a private civil settlement he made with stripper Stormy Daniels 7 years ago. Trump beat a defamation suit she brought against him and she had to pay his attorney’s fees. She’s too old to go back to pole dancing so she’s looking for a bigger payout since the money she took 7 years ago ran out.

In a blatant act of prosecutorial misconduct, Bragg hid hundreds of pages of exculpatory evidence from the New York grand jury.

New York Post

Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan related to hush-money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. He’s expected to surrender and be arraigned next Tuesday, sources told The Post.

Even the Feds wouldn’t touch this.

Fox News

“The indictment may come out with a crime that none of us have heard of,” Turley said. “But for many months, this bootstrapping theory has been put out there, this idea that you could take a misdemeanor under New York law that has expired, that has a two year statute of limitations, and revive it by connecting it to a federal crime, in this case, the federal election violation”

“Now, there’s a host of problems with that,” he continued. “First of all, it’s a federal crime the Department of Justice chose not to prosecute. Bragg’s own predecessor declined to prosecute it, but he is attempting to bootstrap that federal crime into a state case. And if that is the basis for the indictment, I think it’s rather outrageous. I think it’s legally pathetic.”

Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York opted out of charging Trump related to the Stormy Daniels payment in 2019 and the Federal Election Commission also tossed its investigation into the matter in 2021.

A reminder:

BTW: While the Dems are gloating over this latest “We got Trump now” bullshit, Congress has a “Hush Fund” used to settle cases of sexual harassment against its members and staff. Dems are the primary beneficiaries.

Reactions:

Full story, HERE.

Jesse Watters: “I don’t really think the Left understands what they’re getting themselves into… This really lights a fire under this country.”

It’s time for the GOP to grow a pair and fight back:

Kevin McCarthy:

McCarthy immediately reacted to the news on Twitter, making clear Congress would not stand idly by on what Trump and his allies believe is an attempt to use the legal system to hijack the 2024 presidential, in which Trump is currently leading the GOP field by a wide margin.

“Alvin Bragg has irreparably damaged our country in an attempt to interfere in our Presidential election,” McCarthy said. “As he routinely frees violent criminals to terrorize the public, he weaponized our sacred system of justice against President Donald Trump. The American people will not tolerate this injustice, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg and his unprecedented abuse of power to account.”

Conservatives call for charges against Biden:

“All bets are off. You can expect grand jury indictments of leftist politicians like Biden, [former House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer as surely as night follows day,” said Tom Fitton, president of the conservative legal group Judicial Watch.

“You can be sure that there are prosecutors across Florida and Texas right now who are looking for a state law hook into the Biden family,” he added. “And if they’re not, they’re not doing their jobs.”

……“Republicans need to learn how to take off the gloves and put on the brass knuckles and break glass jaws — politically and legally, not physically,” Mike Davis, a former chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee and president of the Article III Project, told The Post.

“If New York can turn a routine settlement of a business dispute seven years ago into a felony, I think our Republican AGs and DAs should get creative,” added Davis, who briefly worked as a federal prosecutor before clerking for Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. “Two wrongs don’t make it right, but it makes it even.

“You just need probable cause. A grand jury can indict a ham sandwich. We just saw that in New York. And the Bidens actually committed real crimes. These are real crimes that the Bidens committed. There is smoking gun evidence that the Bidens were corruptly and illegally on Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs’ payrolls.”

Ya think?

If there’s any doubt about this being a political stunt, this should clear things up.

Gateway Pundit

Early on Thursday morning, The Gateway Pundit released a report that did a deep dive into Alvin Bragg’s Chief Assistant District Attorney Meg Reiss’s Twitter Account.

In the report, it was discovered Reiss liked several anti-Trump tweets that called for Americans to “Dump Trump”,  “drive out everything he (Trump) represents” and more.

She also retweeted a video of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries calling for Democrats to put “Maturity over Mar-a-Lago.”

Just a few hours after the report was released, Meg Reiss locked her Twitter account.

……The move by Reiss to nuke her Twitter account is a major red flag and is  added proof the Manahan DA’s case against Trump is a political stunt.

If you haven’t already make sure to read the original report, HERE:

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier in the month that Deputy New York City DA Meg Reiss may be behind the latest legal assault on President Trump.

Former NYPD officer and political pundit John Cardillo posted a string of tweets suggesting current Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg isn’t “smart enough” to orchestrate an indictment against Trump but rather Soros-connected Deputy DA Meg Reiss is the one pushing for Trump to be indicted.

Cardillo’s statements come after he obtained intel from his New York Law Enforcement sources.

The former NYPD officer’s statements hold weight, because after investigating Reiss’ Twitter account it does appear she has a deep disdain towards President Trump.

A deep dive into Reiss’ Twitter page reveals she liked several anti-Trump tweets throughout the last few years.

The tweets she liked called for Americans to “Dump Trump” and “drive out everything he (Trump) represents.”

Other tweets she liked stated “we need to send Donald Trump packing”, and “Trump is a bad person.”

……This kind of Twitter activity shows that the Chief Assistant DA in the Manhattan DA’s office is not objective or independent but is a political hack.  Now we see how this garbage case against President Trump made the headlines.  Reiss should not be working at any DA’s office in the country.

No one wanted the bogus Trump indictment until Biden’s DOJ sent hatchet man Matt Colangelo, former political appointee for Obama and Biden, to Bragg’s office. His qualifications : He spent several years as an activist lawyer for the NAACP. He also spent his time during  the Trump administration ginning up partisan law suits against the Trump administration for the state of NY. Biden’s finger prints are all over this. Biden personally signed off on the Mar a Lago raid.  The Obama/Biden regime hatched the bogus Flynn sting, which prompted Trump to fire James Comey , which led to the special counsel.  Trump was impeached for simply wanting an investigation of the Biden family’s illegal actions with Ukraine. And now Biden has personally launched another political attack against Donald Trump.

Get a load of this. Wealthy socialist hack George Soros is running for cover after backing Bragg’s candidacy:

Fox News

Liberal billionaire George Soros has distanced himself from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg after former President Donald Trump’s indictment, saying he’s never met Bragg and didn’t donate to his campaign.

“As for Alvin Bragg, as a matter of fact I did not contribute to his campaign and I don’t know him,” Soros told Semafor. “I think some on the right would rather focus on far-fetched conspiracy theories than on the serious charges against the former president.”

Soros’ comments came after President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called Bragg “Soros-backed,” which has been echoed by many other Republicans. Soros has supported dozens of district attorney candidates across the country in recent years. Last summer, he penned a Wall Street Journal op-ed explaining why he puts his money behind “reform-minded” prosecutors.

While Soros did not donate directly to Bragg’s campaign, in May 2021, he gave $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which, shortly after receiving the donation, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars backing Bragg’s candidacy.

Federal Election Commission records show that Soros’ donation was the largest the Color of Change PAC received throughout the 2022 election cycle and ultimately made up roughly 25 percent of the $3.9 million the group hauled in.

The financier’s district attorney operation usually involves his longtime treasurer, Whitney Tymas, establishing political action committees in states where he targets the races. Once set up, he injects money into the PACs, which tend to spend at least hundreds of thousands of dollars backing his preferred candidates.

Meanwhile, Soros’ family members did directly back Bragg’s campaign. Soros’ son, Jonathan Soros, and Jonathan’s wife, Jennifer Allan Soros, donated directly to Bragg’s committee, Fox News Digital previously reported.

Hillary and Bill ClintonJoe and Hunter BidenB. Hussein ObamaEric Holder, Nancy Pelosi, James Comey, and James Clapper, are just some of the Dem criminal conglomerate that used their positions to abuse power and commit crimes.

If there were equal application of the law, they would have been indicted and convicted already.

Gregg Jarrett

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has cobbled together a novel, if not bizarre, legal theory of intertwining offenses. It is doubtful that his case can withstand judicial scrutiny, assuming the judge who presides over the matter is objective and neutral.

The defense will surely file a motion to dismiss by arguing that the case is not supported by the law and that the alleged facts do not amount to a crime.

The district attorney accuses Trump of falsifying business records in the accounting of a payment made to porn actress, Stormy Daniels. By taking that dubious misdemeanor and coupling it with a purported campaign finance violation, Bragg seeks to elevate it into a felony. The law does not permit such arrant manipulations.

The Dems have created a system of bullying and persecution of political opponents. This shit usually happens in Communist countries and Banana Republics. It’s happening in America.

Bragg’s stunt is another attempt at political persecution and a distraction from the Biden Crime Family probes by the House.

Even the leftwing WaPo is clutching their pearls:

The Washington Post editorial board is very worried about the indictment of Donald Trump by New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Their concern isn’t that a rather lame indictment would be an injustice. No. Their real cause of concern is that the grounds for the first ever indictment of a former American president is so weak that it could end up helping Trump.

You can see their grave concern which was presented just about an hour after the announcement of the indictment on Thursday in the title of their editorial, “The Trump indictment is a poor test case for prosecuting a former president.”

……watch the Washington Post editorial board rub their worry beads over the weakness of the indictment:

“……the long list of alleged violations, the likely charges on which a grand jury in New York state voted to indict him are perhaps the least compelling. There’s cause for concern, and caution, ahead.”

Bragg’s got nothing. Not even a legal leg to stand on.
