Considering that ObamaCare is one of the worst socialist train wrecks in history, you’re goddamned right, Harry.
Hat tip to Breitbart.
Senator Ted Cruz, (R-TX) explained to “Fox News Sunday” his procedural strategy, after suggesting Friday that Senate Republicans use a filibuster to block Senate Democrats’ attempt to use their majority to swiftly vote down the House-approved plan–which is to fund the entire federal government, except Obamacare, before the Oct. 1 deadline.
“If Senate Republicans stand together, we can stop [Majority Leader] Harry Reid,” said Cruz, the Tea Party-backed senator.
Cruz suggested Senate Republicans take their stand by attempting to block Reid’s effort to exclude GOP input through cloture, which can block debates and amendments with only 50 “yes” votes.
Harry Reid blew a gasket and attacked Tea Party activists as “extremists” and “anarchists” for their efforts to prevent ObamaCare from taking effect:
“An anarchy movement is afoot. A lead editorial in the New York Times on Wednesday of last week said that. But we’re not going to bow to tea party anarchists who deny the mere fact that Obamacare is the law. We will not bow to tea party anarchists who refuse to accept that the Supreme Court ruled that Obamacare is Constitutional. They ignore the fact that Obama was overwhelmingly re-elected a few months ago”….”These fanatics really point to the disapproval for Obamacare as justification for taking the federal government and our economy hostage to their demands.”
This is coming from one of the Dem assclowns who held the Constitution hostage as they rammed a government takeover of healthcare through Congress against the will of the American people. Reid oughta know about “anarchy”; the douchebag embraced the ‘Occupy’ miscreants and expressed his love for them on the Senate floor.
The fact that the SCOTUS upheld the tax imposition in ObamaCare, does not mean that ObamaCare as a whole is constitutional. Harry forgets that the individual mandate portion was stuck down.
Leftwingnuts are scared shitless of patriots who demand a return to the principles outlined in the U.S. Constitution. The Tea Party drives them to insane distraction. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Hoyer, Biden, and the rest of the leftwing effete don’t take criticism of their arrogance and hubris very well.
Keep calling us names and spewing hate, Harry. It lets us know we’re winning.
