THIS IS OUR FLAG
From World Net Daily
Americans now are being blasted as “racist” for the simple act of waving an American flag.
It happened Monday in California to a small group of protesters who waved U.S. flags in front of a school where officials had banned the practice to avoid violence threatened by Hispanic students celebrating Cinco de Mayo.
The controversy developed in 2010, when school officials ordered students not to wear U.S. flag-themed shirts on the Mexican holiday. The ban has been upheld by a federal appeals court.
The controversy brought a small group of protesters out Monday, and the community reacted immediately.
“What’s wrong with these white people holding up American flags in Morgan hill??? Racist a–holes,” wrote Gia Lee in a feed monitored by Twitchy.
The report also noted the school superintendent was confirming that students wearing American flag-themed shirts on Monday “won’t be kicked out.”
“Read that sentence again and then cringe at the fact that had to be said in the United States,” the Twitchy report said.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported a group called Gilroy-Morgan Hill Patriots stood in front of Live Oak High School for about an hour waving American flags.
The protest followed the decision earlier this year by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that school officials, in a dispute four years ago, were right to suspend the First Amendment rights of students who wanted to wear U.S. flag-themed shirts on Cinco de Mayo.
Mexican students allegedly had threatened violence because of the shirts, and school officials, consequently, suspended the right of other students to wear Old Glory.
Twitchy caught Davey D blasting the patriots: “Shout out to the racist a– adults, so-called patriots who are posted up at Live Oak HS in Morgan Hill protesting Cinco de Mayo #idiots.”
“The Gilroy Morgan Hill Patriots … what a bunch of racist d–k-heads!! I think they may be part owners of the LA Clippers. #racist,” wrote Jorge P. Gonzalez.
“Hey folks in Morgan Hill. You have some racist neighbors. You need to check those tea party a–holes,” said Al_Bondigas.
“F— your American flag. Racist as f—s. I’ll always have pride with my Mexican flag but not the American one,” wrote Ivan Mora.
By the way: Mexico as a whole, doesn’t even celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Evidently, it’s only recognized by Mexican illegals and open borders/amnesty advocates in the U.S.
Background: Mexico defaulted on a loan from France. France invaded to enforce collection of payments and initially fought the Mexican army at a town called Puebla on May 5, 1862.
The region of Puebla is pretty much the only Mexican state that recognizes the date. Oh, and by the way, the French came back a few days later and kicked their ass.
The French attacked the Mexican army at Orizaba, Veracruz, on 14 June. More French troops arrived on 21 September, and General Bazaine arrived with more reinforcements on 16 October. Tampico, Tamaulipas, was occupied by the army of France on 23 October, and with Xalapa, Veracruz, was taken peacefully on 12 December. The French marched into Mexico City on 7 June 1863, completing the takeover.
The only reason these lowlifes ‘celebrate’ the temporary victory over French troops is to use the occasion to rail against enforcement of U.S. sovereignty, our immigration laws, and accuse America of being “racist”.
To all the La Raza assholes who hate America and can’t stand the American flag: Fuck you. This is the United States of America, not Mexico. Don’t like it? Tough shit. You can haul your asses back over the border and stay there.

Stories like this disgust me and make me ashamed of my people. I am a mexican citizen who came to the US legally. I believe once you decided to make the US your country, you need to learn to respect and love everything about it. If you do not like it and find the American Flag offensive, you are welcome to pack your bags and move back to Mexico.
I am not a citizen (yet), but I instill on my 2 children the love and respect for their country, their flag and specially the military people. I stand up and recite the Pledge of Allegiance every Monday (at our Scouts meeting) and have as much respect for the American flag as I do for the Mexican one. It is possible to love both countries.
What bothers me the most is that some idiots use a meaningless “holiday” to show how disrespectful and hateful they are, to the country that welcomed them. If you hate the US so much, why even bother coming here??? I moved here because of my husband (an American citizen), not because I wanted to be here, still I understand the importance of loving and respecting the country of my family, how couldn’t I??
Claudia,
You’re one of the people who should be at or near the top of the list for citizenship. You’re doing it the right way. You’re the embodiment of what America is all about. We’re a melting pot of different ethnic groups who brought our own flavor to the mix. The common denominator is the assimilation into American culture, respect for the Constitution, the laws, and the what the flag represents. The people who fled oppression and hardship in Europe came here with the desire to offer their skills, services, and themselves for the good of the country. They came here for a better life and the opportunity to succeed. They didn’t come here with a belligerent attitude and a list of demands.
Your children are lucky. They have a responsible parent who teaches them the value and importance of citizenship.
Keep me posted on your progress. And, welcome to America!

BTW I would have been at that counterprotest if i had the chance. Just like i was on 28th street rallying for the steel industry here in Lorain. Getting active is something we should all do.
Don’t get me wrong Sarge, i’m in your corner. Illegal Immigration is cancer. The pathways to citizenship must be upheld and enforced, not muddied down to accommodate an influx of amnesty\welfare democrat voters.
But with regards to classes being disrupted by people on either side of this discussion, is unacceptable. Children need all the instruction time they can get, as is evident by our still falling nation test scores. Schools should be able to intervene when anything disrupts those efforts. Further more, if a school district is challenged and forced to make a decision, it should always side with core american values. Banning Old Glory does not do that. Quite the opposite.
thanks for chatting with me about it though.
Tolerance is not a one way street. In this country we can celebrate what ever we want. Old Glory can and will withstand such petty attacks against her absolute unwavering place in our society.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one Nation under God, INDIVISIBLE, with liberty and justice for ALL.
When disorderly conduct is threatened by a minority group children over others proudly displaying Old Glory in any form, Discipline should be swift and stern for those those making the threats. Not those legally expressing there first amendment rights.
Flipside.
If the individuals in question are using our American Flag to insight division, to promote racism, or to create tension for no other reason than to …create tension. Then there must be something done to prevent them from doing so.
The line is fine indeed.
Steven,
The counter protest was done by patriots who are fed up with the La Raza/Reconquista malfeasants who not only advocate violence, but break the law by aiding, abetting, and harboring illegals. The Obama regime does it as well, and we’re sick of it. Title 8 U.S. Code, sections 1324 and 1325, are pretty cut and dry. Those are federal statutes regarding immigration. If you cross the border illegally, it’s a felony. If you aid and abet illegal alien felons, you have also committed a felony.
The extremist Hispanic crowd jumps at any opportunity to rally for amnesty for these slugs who have not only entered into the U.S. illegally, but have dropped anchor babies, received welfare, food stamps, free education, and housing at American taxpayer expense.
The tension is created by assholes like La Raza, Aztlan, and the rest of the radical assholes in the school system who use their race as an excuse to rant against U.S. sovereignty.

They don’t consider themselves American citizens, and most of them probably aren’t. Which is why they hoist a foreign flag in our faces. Enough.
If they don’t like us waving our flag, tough shit. I don’t like the flag of Mexico being waved at their protests as if this country were a Mexican satellite. THAT creates tension.
