A veteran – whether active duty, retired, National Guard or Reserve – is someone who at one point in his/her life wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount of ‘up to and including my life.’
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
To all my fellow veterans:
Have a good Veteran’s Day. We all should take time to remember the fallen and continue to support those still serving.

Butt,
Same to you, my friend. Hope you had a good Veteran’s day. I spent the day at ceremonies and tributes. I’m the Adjutant for my American Legion Post and it keeps me pretty busy.
