……The 11 players who knelt in a circle were as follows: Seth DeValve, Duke Johnson Jr., Terrence Magee, Jabrill Peppers, Calvin Pryor, Jamar Taylor, Kenny Britt, Ricardo Louis, Chris Kirksey, Jamie Collins and Isaiah Crowell. DeValve was the only white player of the group.
In addition to the kneeling players, Britton Colquitt, Jason McCourty, DeShone Kizer, Trevon Coley and Shon Coleman stood near the circle.
Malcolm Jenkins garnered a lot of attention for raising his first during the anthem earlier this preseason, and Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett sat during the anthem before their preseason games. Colin Kaepernick, of course, made waves for kneeling for the anthem last season, and has been in the news all summer because he hasn’t yet been signed.
Remember the names of those assholes.
I’ve been a Browns fan since 1964. I won’t be watching them this year. Matter of fact, I won’t be watching any NFL games this year. Roger Goodell is a pussy and he refuses to condemn this. Fuck ’em all.
To all the NFL players who kneel during the anthem:
Brave Americans—people far better than you—fought and died for the principles represented by the flag, just so you could make a bundle playing a sport.
Instead of acting like ungrateful infantile douchebags, have some respect. Show some class. If you can’t muster the integrity to stand and render honors to the national anthem, that speaks volumes about the content of your character.
If football is America’s game then why let these Anti- American mental microbes earn millions playing it? Jerry Jones them and send their assess packing. This disgraceful display disrespects every man and woman that ever wore a uniform, irrespective of color. Send these morons out to find a real job, earning minimum wage. “Ya’ll want fries wi’ dat?” On second thought, give ’em a chance at better than minimum wage. They are already on their knees, maybe they can star in the porno industry.
