Obama’s communication director is blaming the concern over unwanted, unsolicited, Obama-generated e-mail spams on the people who received them.
The White House is blaming the controversy over its Web site and mass e-mails on viral rumors, “fear-mongering” and “sinister conspiracy theories” even as it acknowledges problems with its online practices.
After confirming to FOX News over the weekend that third-party groups could be responsible for official White House e-mails that have been sent to people who never signed up for them, President Obama’s new media director took to the official White House blog to “clear up” the confusion.
Yeah, I’m confused. Who are the ‘third party groups’ inside the White House responsible for the spamming?
In a posting Monday night, Macon Phillips again pointed the finger at “outside groups of all political stripes” but downplayed the backlash over the unwanted e-mails.
Do the “outside groups of all political stripes” include the people from all walks of life who don’t want a government run “option”?
“An ironic development is that the launch of an online program meant to provide facts about health insurance reform has itself become the target of fear-mongering and online rumors that are the tactics of choice for the defenders of the status quo,” he wrote. “Despite reports by some bloggers and others in the media that have invoked a variety of sinister conspiracy theories, more people signed up for updates last week than during the entire month of July.”
Yeah, that’s it. All of the legitimate concerns over unsolicited White House spams have to be the result of “sinister conspiracy theories”. It can’t possibly be the reaction of pissed off citizens who are not thrilled with ObamaCare or the propaganda efforts.
Phillips also confirmed that the e-mail account set up to field submissions from the public on “fishy” information about health care reform has been deactivated. This development was reported Monday morning by FOX News.
……People can still submit “fishy” information about health care reform through the “reality check” Web site, set up by the White House last week to rebut health care rumors.

I have something to report.
It seems Dear Leader himself has misled us with “fishy disinformation”.
His ObamaCare proposal (which unlike the Democrats, I’ve actually read) totally contradicts his claims of a “cost effective” government-run program that will give Americans the “option” of “affordable” public (government-run) healthcare.
It’s nothing more than 1017 pages of incoherent gobbledygook trying to justify the proposed seizure and rationing of our medical care.
There’s even a section that discusses all the tax penalties lying in wait for individuals and employers ‘not obtaining acceptable coverage’.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Subchapter A of chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by adding at the end the following new part:

‘‘SUBPART A. TAX ON INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT ACCEPTABLE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE.
‘‘Subpart A—Tax on Individuals Without Acceptable
Health Care Coverage
‘‘Sec. 59B. Tax on individuals without acceptable health care coverage.
‘‘SEC. 59B. TAX ON INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT ACCEPTABLE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE.
‘‘(a) TAX IMPOSED.—In the case of any individual who does not meet the requirements of subsection (d) at any time during the taxable year, there is hereby imposed a tax equal to 2.5 percent of the excess of—
‘‘(1) the taxpayer’s modified adjusted gross income for the taxable year, over
(2) the amount of gross income specified in section 6012(a)(1) with respect to the taxpayer.
I take that to mean draconian measures against people who won’t choose the “protection”.
All the (“benefits, insurance options”, etc) will be under government regulation and subsidies.
How does THE ONE plan on paying for all of this? There’s references to “cost-sharing” (deductables, coinsurance, copayments) and “fair share per capita”, without any clear, concise, explaination of just how much money he intends to squeeze out of us to pay for this health care “reform”. Not very “transparent”.
And the whole thing is very ‘fishy’.
