87 Muzzies in Mecca Die From the Will of Allah and a Crane Collapse, but Mostly the Will of Allah

A powerful rainstorm in Mecca knocked down a crane at Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mosque Friday, and the Saudi Civil Defense authority says at least 87 people are dead.

The Defense authority confirmed the accident in a Twitter post, saying 87 people died and 184 were wounded, Reuters reported.

Photos on social media showed shocked pilgrims in bloodied robes, and debris from part of a crane that looks like it crashed through a ceiling.

Authorities in Mecca have been preparing for the millions of faithful making the annual Muslim Hajj pilgrimage there later this month.

……The Hajj is one of the largest and most famous religious gatherings in the world, but it’s been plagued by disasters in the past. Thousands of pilgrims rushing to complete rituals and return home have been trampled in the chaos. In 2006, hundreds of pilgrims died in a stampede.

Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud  said that ALL the Saudi’s – himself included – and the entire Middle East celebrated and distributed sweets on 9/11 for the Arab killing of almost 3000 people on American soil.
