Six were also killed in an Iranian drone attack in Kuwait, and one died after sustaining injuries in an enemy missile and drone attack at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. A CENTCOM spokesperson also confirmed that about 200 U.S. service members have been wounded since the onset of hostilities, with the vast majority of injuries being minor.

The WaPo and NY Times heaped praise on Khamenei in their eulogies. Tehran’s islamofascist pigs carried out world wide terrorism, killed thousands of their own people, killed Americans, and subjugated women. But liberals think he’s a martyr.

Looks like former Iranian despot Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was also killed in the strikes.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was likely killed Saturday as war roared across the Middle East after a major military operation against Iran was begun by the United States and Israel.

Khamenei was killed in the attack, Axios reported.

The site said Israel’s ambassador to the U.S. told American officials that Khamenei was dead. Axios also said an Israeli official said Khamenei was killed.

A report from Reuters, citing an Israeli official, said Khamenei’s body had been found.

A report in the Times of Israel, citing a video from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said Khamenei “is no more.”

……..A Times of Israel report said that Israel dropped 30 bombs on the compound where Khamenei was living and that, although he was underground, he was not so far underground that Israeli munitions could not reach him.

Israeli media reported that Khamenei’s son Mojtaba Khamenei, the heir apparent to his father, may also have been killed. The report said that all told, about 30 or Iran’s top military, intelligence, and political leaders were targeted.

………President Donald Trump’s message to the American people, delivered at 2:30 a.m. ET Saturday, said the bombing taking place was the start of “major combat operations in Iran.”

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime — a vicious group of very hard, terrible people. Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world,” Trump said.

“For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted ‘Death to America’ and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder targeting the United States, our troops and the innocent people in many, many countries,” Trump said.

“It’s been mass terror, and we’re not going to put up with it any longer,” he said.

There is even evidence that Iran was supporting Al-Qaeda at the time of the 9/11 attacks. “Death to America” isn’t just a fun little rallying cry; it’s a mission statement from the Iranian Regime. There have been multiple Iranian presidential assassination plots foiled, including one that got convicted earlier this month. Just a few days ago, Iranian security official Ali Larijani, who was assassinated on Tuesday, had made threats toward Trump’s life.

The Left shields and defends Islam because they have a lot in common. They were perfectly fine with Obama’s disastrous Iranian nuke deal and sending Tehran pallets of cash, but hit one of their terrorist leaders and they have grand mal seizures.

Like Obama, Biden pandered to muzzie extremists.

The Dems have a lengthy history of siding with America’s enemies.

Under the Obama regime, our Navy personnel were paraded on state television, their dignity stripped away while the world watched. Obama’s shameful cowardice made the Iranians think they could get away with this. They did.

While Dems and RINOs are wailing over this, the Iranian people are celebrating and dancing in the streets.
