Ted Cruz Slams Obama: “Don’t give weapons to people who hate us”

That would cover just about every hostile, belligerent, pissant muslim country on the planet.

While most of the Senate is debating immigration reform this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz took time to deliver an address on the Senate floor criticizing President Obama for his decision to intervene in Syria.

Cruz warned that there were elements of al Qaeda supporting the rebels and highlighted reports of desecrations of churches, kidnappings, rapes, and beheadings.

“These forces are engaged with a deadly struggle with the Assad regime and President Obama has chosen this moment to signal that it is now suddenly in our vital security interests to intervene in Syria,” Cruz said. “It seems far more likely a recipe for disaster.”

Part of the problem, Cruz noted, was arming the Syrian rebels with guns and ammunition.

“Regardless, let me suggest a simple rule,” Cruz said. “Don’t give weapons to people who hate us. Don’t give weapons to people who want to kill us.”

Obama’s dicked-up foreign policy involves aid to Hamas, the PLO, and the Muslim Brotherhood thugs in Egypt.

How fucking depraved do you have to be to think that arming America’s enemies is a good thing?

By the way, this is a sample of the hate:
