A veteran – whether active duty, retired, National Guard or Reserve – is someone who at one point in his/her life wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount of ‘up to and including my life.’
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
To all my fellow veterans:
Have a good Veteran’s Day. We all should take time to remember and thank those who have served and those still serving.
HOOAH!

- A brief History of Veterans Day (Military.com)
We go where we’re told to go …
.
We do our duty…
.
We don’t leave our dead behind…
.
We are lead by incompetents…
.
We serve with honor…
.
We are warriors…
.
I salute you…
