All of this is perfectly predictable: when you create a nation of whiny children and then hand them the keys to the intellectual car, they tend to crash it into a tree, leave it in flames, and then blame you for it. The profound intellectual history of Western civilization was supposed to be protected and forwarded by the university system; one of the goals of attending university had been the preservation of central Western values like freedom of thought and speech. Instead, endowed with the self-assurance of pampered youth, students have decided for the second time in two generations to destroy that university system in the name of feeeeeeeeeee-(breathes)-eeeeeeeeeeeelings.
