The thrill is gone…
Al Qaeda’s deputy commander, Ayman Zawahri, has issued another scathing attack on President Obama in a new audio tape released on jihadi Web sites.
Zawahri argues that the U.S. president is following the same policies as his predecessor, George W. Bush.
“America brought us a new face, trying to deceive us yet again. A face that calls for change, but it’s rather calling for us to change, to give up our faith and our rights,” says Zawahri, adding that Mr. Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential election was an acknowledgement by the American people of, “the failure of the policies of Bush and his gang.”
Zawahri warned that Mr. Obama’s “surge” of troops to Afghanistan will only make things worse. “What Obama is seeking to do by increasing the U.S. forces in Afghanistan and continuing to bomb Pakistan will only add more fuel to the fire and expose your soldiers to more killings and injuries.”
“What Obama has claimed about negotiating with moderate Taliban is an illusion that he is fooling you or himself with,” added bin Laden’s deputy.
‘Moderate Taliban’….that doesn’t even require a punchline.
Zawahri had already strongly condemned Obama in a tape released last November, in which he described the American president as a, “house Negro”.
……Aligning his views with bin Laden’s, Zawahri called on Islamic extremists in Iraq to unite, reminding them of the heavy responsibility on their shoulders — that of conquering Palestine and liberating Jerusalem.
Bin Laden himself suggested in a tape released mid-March (http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/03/19/world/worldwatch/entry4875530.shtml) that militants should establish a strong base in Iraq, move into Jordan and force their way into Israel from there.
The tape also drew attention to the economic impact that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have had on the U.S. and other world economies. Zawahri cited a study by Linda Bilmes of Harvard University and Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia University, saying that America has spent over $2 billion on its military activities in Iraq alone.

That’s okay, because Obama and his Democrat-controlled Congress have voted to spend $800 billion (400 times the amount of the GWOT to date) on the so called ‘stimulus package’, and that doesn’t include the spending/bailout orgy that will run about $9 trillion.
In spite of Obama’s connections to radical muslim groups and pandering to Islamofascists, (Saudi Arabia, Iran) he hasn’t yet decided to cut and run from the war on Islamic terrorism. Gawd knows he’s given all the right signals. ‘Negotiate without preconditions’, bowing to the Saudi king, and declaring that the United States “is not and never will be at war with Islam.”
Why, he even has friends and collaborators like Mazen Asbahi and Jamal Said, two members of the Muslim Brotherhood, Rashid Khalidi, a PLO operative and co-founder of the radical Arab American Action Network, whom he praised at a tribute dinner while he stood up and read an anti-Israel ‘poem’. Members of the PLO also raised donations for Obama’s campaign, from Gaza.
Wasn’t Obama’s coronation supposed to make the world join hands and sing Kumbaya? Wasn’t the Islamofascist nation supposed to put away the bombs, stop killing ‘infidels’, and give up the quest for a world Caliphate?
