Another Muzzie Terrorist Attack in London: Bomb Detonated on Packed Subway Train (UPDATED)

The teenager arrested on suspicion of planting a bomb on the Tube is reportedly an Iraqi orphan who moved over to the UK as a refugee three years ago, a community leader said today.

The 18-year-old was detained by police on Saturday morning in connection with the terror attack, which saw 30 people injured when a home-made bomb was detonated on a packed carriage.

Following the arrest, police raided a house in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey – home to foster care couple Penelope and Ronald Jones who have reportedly taken in refugee children in the past.

As police continued to search the property, a local council leader told reporters that he believed the teenage suspect is an Iraqi orphan who moved to Britain aged 15 after his parents died.

British police said armed officers were searching a residence in a London suburb and evacuated neighbors as a precaution as part of the investigation into Friday’s subway blast that injured at least 30 people.

Police said the operation was occurring in Sunbury, an area on the southwestern outskirts of the capital and about five miles from London’s Heathrow Airport. A no-fly zone was established over the area to keep out small planes and drones as police moved in and police cordons were put in place to keep the public well away.

Earlier, police arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the attack at the Parsons Green station.

Police said the man was arrested by Kent police in the port area of Dover on the English Channel.

Deputy Assistant Police Commissioner Neil Basu said it was a “significant arrest.” He said the investigation was ongoing and the terror threat level remained at “critical.”

London police reportedly identified a suspect linked to the bucket bomb that detonated on a packed subway train during Friday morning rush hour, injuring at least 22 people.
Sky News reported police identified the suspect through surveillance camera footage.

Police quickly called the incident on the District Line train at Parsons Green station a “terrorist incident.” It was the fifth terrorist attack in Britain this year. Police said they have not arrested anyone in connection to the bombing but hundreds of detectives were trying to hunt down the perpetrator or perpetrators.
The Metropolitan Police force said police “are making fast-time inquiries to establish who was responsible and are working closely with the security services.”
Counterterrorism policing chief Mark Rowley said hundreds of detectives were scanning surveillance camera footage, carrying out forensic work and speaking to witnesses.
Scotland Yard said an improvised explosive device was used in the attack, and London’s Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism unit was also investigating; however, police did not immediately provide any details on any suspects.

……British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said people should “keep calm and go about their normal lives” following the incident, adding that it would be “wrong to speculate.”

May said Britain’s official threat level from terrorism remained at “severe,” meaning an attack is highly likely, and has not been raised in the wake of the bombing.

The London Underground itself has been targeted several times in the past, notably in July 2005, when suicide bombers blew themselves up on three subway trains and a bus, killing 52 people and themselves. Four more bombers tried a similar attack two weeks later, but their devices failed to detonate fully.
