As The Gateway Pundit reported, 43-year-old Jamey Carney was found deceased in her rented home in Killarney on Tuesday at around 1:20 pm local time by a family member. Carney lived at the residence with her 13-year-old daughter.
The murder was absolutely horrible. The Irish Mirror reported that Carney not only suffered serious head injuries in a brutal attack but had been hidden by a duvet being placed over her.
Carney had moved to Ireland from New York just five years ago.
Now, the New York Post has confirmed with police sources in Ireland that the suspect allegedly responsible for murdering Carney is 28-year-old Ahmad Alsaqer. The man moved from France to Ireland in 2024 to seek asylum.
Per the Post, he is suspected of bludgeoning Carney to death before boarding a bus from Killarney to Dublin early Tuesday morning. He then booked a last-minute flight to Istanbul, Turkey.
Alsaqer and Carney were dating each other at the time of the crime. They first met at an anti-Israel rally in Ireland about a year and a half ago.
According to her Facebook and TikTok pages, as well as local reports, Carney was known locally as a community member involved in Pro-Palestine activities.
She also posted several TikTok videos of her relationship with Alsaqer. These included several showing them traveling together.
