Evidently, the leftwing nutbags at the Atlanta Journal Constitution saw fit to fete Jane Fonda on her 70th birthday and gloss over the history of her treason.
For those of you who aren’t old enough to remember:
In 1972, Jane Fonda and her former husband Tom Hayden went to Vietnam to offer support, aid, and comfort to enemies of the United States. While there, she posed for propaganda films, one of which included laughing while seated at an NVA gun emplacement.
That laughing and clapping she did was in response to being told the gun had been used to shoot down American planes.
She also made numerous anti-American radio broadcasts, and called American POWs “liars” when they related stories of the torture and degradation they suffered at the hands of the Communists she loved so much.
She and Hayden also traveled to Czechoslovakia, where, during a meeting with Viet Cong representatives, he announced: “I am Viet Cong. We are all Viet Cong.”
Some of Fonda’s imbecilic statements:
“If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become Communist.”
“I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism.”
“We’ve got to establish a socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react.”
This is all from a woman who has made millions off of the capitalist entertainment industry.

That bitch and her husband should have been shot the second they stepped back onto American soil.
And as for the Atlanta Journal Constitution: Fuck you and your tribute to a traitor.
