Authorities in Hope, Arkansas, are investigating a suspected arson at Bill Clinton’s birthplace on Christmas Day.
The fire broke out at the house around 3:20 a.m. Christmas morning, according to reports. Hope Police Chief J.R. Wilson told reporters that the fire is under investigation, but arson is suspected.
The building, which is designated a National Historic Site and is maintained by the National Park Service, was heavily damaged. The house is where Clinton spent the first four years of his life.
CBS News reported that federal authorities were on their way to investigate the fire.
It could be an insurance scam by Hillary and Bill’s Clinton Foundation.
A scam wouldn’t surprise me. Also not surprising albeit disappointing, is the redundancy in the news article: 3:20 a.m. … morning. Really?!? The establishment media strikes again . . .
