Charles Rangel to Reporter: ‘What Ethical Violations’?

CNBC’s Bill Haines in response to Charles Rangel’s (D-N.Y.) assertion that Congress should tax the AIG bonuses 90-100 percent because they ‘violated public trust’:

“With all due respect Congressman, when you talk about violating the public trust, you’ve had some tax issues of your own,” Haines said.

Rangel, indignant with ‘how dare this peon question someone of my privileged stature’ said:

“Well, I wouldn’t think that you know what they are since what I did or did not is being investigated by a committee, by me,” Rangel said. “So what you’re doing is reporting on what a reporter says because you have no clue as to what problems, if any, I have.”

What. The. Fuck?

Haines then asked, “So all of the reports in the press were erroneous?”

“All of the reports in the press have been sent to a congressional committee that I asked to be sent to,” Rangel said.

From what I am able to decypher from that incoherent tripe, he thinks he’s overseeing the very committee tasked with investigating his own ethic violations?

He managed to assemble enough brain cells to put this ‘clarification’ together:

“There hasn’t been any government agency that has looked at this,” Rangel said. “And so reporters are reporting on reports asking me questions. In order to eliminate all of that, I sent it to the ethics committee.”

This jumble of nonsensical, non-syntactic bullshit is coming from someone who serves on the Congressional committee responsible for writing the nation’s tax code, and who failed to pay thousands of dollars in federal taxes on rental income from a villa he owns in the Dominican Republic.

Rangel’s demonstrative arrogance is a common thread among Democrat scofflaws in particular.
Marion Barry, Alcee Hastings, Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd, John Conyers…christ, do a head count of all the Democrats in Congress and Senate and at least 9 out of 10 will have some pretty serious ethical, if not criminal, violations in their resume. The MSM, with very few exceptions, won’t even mention their political party, let alone call them out on their records.

Republicans? They get raked over the fucking coals.

Wanna bet Rangel, Dodd, and the rest of the motley crew gets another pass?

Here’s why:

The controlling Democrat regime and their media hacks are fully aware that the average American is an uncomplicated creature with a short attention span and even shorter memory.

You don’t read or listen any further than what you glean from the NBC-CBS-ABC-MSNBC news conglomerate or your local ‘fish wrap’. When it comes to candidates and issues, you don’t bother to do research. You don’t look at their voting record or find out what they’ve done to get where they are.
You don’t care if you get an empty suit for a representative, as long as they sound good.

Everyone makes mistakes, voters and candidates alike. But you keep electing (for the most part) liberal shitbags who make a habit of scamming constituents, lying about their extremist affiliations, taking money from foreign contributors (some of whom are Middle Eastern terrorists), engaging in shady business transactions, taxing business to death, and doing as much damage to national security as they can.

Honesty, integrity, patriotism, and character don’t count. Not according to your voting habits.

That’s why miscreants like Pelosi, Clinton, Durbin, Murtha, and Obama got elected.

Once the dust settles, the politicians who brought you this latest scandal will still be in office.

Prove me wrong.
