And let me say this, to all of the chattering class, that so much focuses on those little, tiny — yes, porky — amendments: The American people really don’t care.

We’ll see how much Americans care now that the reigning Dems have aired their true feelings about us peons.
Newsflash, Chuck: Not only do I care, but there’s absolutely nothing ‘little’ or ‘tiny’ about BILLIONS of dollars in American taxpayer-funded pork spending.
Thank you for reminding us that effete Democrats hold the American people in such contempt.
The feeling is mutual.
Screw you.
By the way, should anyone care as much as I, make sure you contact Chuck:

The arrogance and contempt Schumer has for the average, Tax-paying American is astounding. I have yet to speak to anyone about this stimulus bill who isn’t stunned if not outright frightened by the amount of pork and the price tag. What most concerns me, is the hidden crap in this bill that, if passed, will fundamentally change the way we live our day to day lives without first being subjected to free, open, and reasoned debate. Our leaders are cowards.
Patriot,
This is true. But I’d like to know how many people you spoke with who voted for Obama, yet have the gall to be stunned by the outcome. There’s a lot of buyer’s remorse and very little personal accountablity.

Glad to see, I wasn’t the only person including themselves in the “chattering class” after hearing Comrade Schumer’s remarks. Evertime this man opens his pie hole, something stupid falls out.
Not only do a lot of Americans care about what is in this “stimulus” bill, but the longer we have time to read and digest it, the more we find that we don’t like. That is the only reason this piece of legislation is being rushed through Congress, in the same way the unscrupulous salesman pressures to get your signature, but doesn’t give you time to read the fine print. The devil is in the details.
Obama is right about one thing, there’s a lot of transparency in Washington, they don’t even try to hide their contempt for the American public anymore.
I’m ashamed to say I’m a New Yorker but…as long as New York city is a part of New York State Chuckie will be the new Teddy (only with a better driving record).
