Copenhagen Junk Science Roundup:Covered in Snow, Socialism, and Epic Fail

Just think, they spent millions of taxpayer dollars getting to this farce in private jets and limos, staying in high-priced hotel accomodations, and eating some pretty expensive dinners.
Britain’s leftwing rag The Guardian, opines:

‘Low targets, goals dropped: Copenhagen ends in failure’

The wailing and gnashing of teeth from these morons is especially entertaining;

Lumumba Di-Aping, (from Sudan) chief negotiator for the G77 group of 130 developing countries, (http://www.g77.org/doc/members.html) said the deal had “the lowest level of ambition you can imagine. It’s nothing short of climate change scepticism in action.

I certainly hope so.

……It locks countries into a cycle of poverty for ever. Obama has eliminated any difference between him and Bush.”

That cycle of poverty is caused by two factors: your hatred of capitalism and refusal to drag yourself into a modern century.  B. Hussein Obama isn’t exactly friendly towards captialist free-market enterprise. By the time he’s through, there won’t be any difference between our economy and a ‘cycle of poverty’.

More melodrama:

John Sauven, executive director of Greenpeace UK, said: “The city of Copenhagen is a crime scene tonight, with the guilty men and women fleeing to the airport. Ed Miliband [UK climate change secretary] is among the very few that come out of this summit with any credit.” It is now evident that beating global warming will require a radically different model of politics than the one on display here in Copenhagen.”

Uh, they fled to the airport in an attempt to beat the coming winter snow storm about to hit the Eastern and MidWestern parts of the United States….kinda like the one that slammed Copenhagen.

Lydia Baker of Save the Children said world leaders had “effectively signed a death warrant for many of the world’s poorest children. Up to 250,000 children from poor communities could die before the next major meeting in Mexico at the end of next year.”

The last refuge for New World Order socialists: drag the kids into the mix for emotional effect. I’m going to go out on a limb and say those “250,000 children from poor communities” are located in countries like Sudan; rife with terrorism, tribal wars, and corruption.  Warm temperatures, with incidentally are intrinsic to the African continent, should be the least of their worries.
Things are pretty bad when The Guardian pans Obamessiah.

Obama’s lacklustre speech proved a frustration to a summit that had been looking to him to use his stature on the world stage, and his following among African leaders, to reach an ambitious deal.

As if the Climategate revelations weren’t enough, Mother Nature just flipped a big fat bird at the “global warming” loonies:

Much of the East Coast of the United States is set for a major blast of winter this weekend with snow totals of more than one foot forecast for the Washington DC area. The Congressional delegation of 21 lawmakers now in Copenhagen for the UN Climate Change Conference announced they would leave early in order to beat the snowstorm before it strikes the nation’s capital.
Update, 5:15pm – Like the Congressional delegation, President Barack Obama said “because of weather constraints in Washington I am leaving before the final vote.”
The climate summit began on December 7th and it seems like the ‘Gore Effect’ has been striking routinely since then.

Leading up to the event, much of the United States was plunged into a deep freeze. Snow fell in Houston, Denver experienced temperatures 30 degrees below normal and 370 new record low temperatures were set or tied in a three day span across the United States.

Not even the summit itself has been immune to the effect as a major snowstorm struck Copenhagen yesterday and temperatures plummeted. President Obama landed at the summit today amid snow falling.  Denmark’s Meteorological Institute said that the nation may have its first white Christmas in 14 years.

Now, as delegates and world leaders are set to depart the summit when it ends today, weather in the United States is affecting travel plans for many. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office has said that the Congressional delegation would leave ‘several hours’ earlier than planned to beat a major winter storm set to hit.
A variety of winter weather warnings have been issued for a large swath from South Carolina through New York. Washington DC could receive as much as 20 inches of snow, blizzard conditions are forecast for Baltimore and New York City could receive up to 10 inches of snow.

Hugo made an appearance for his usual rant:

Venezuelan Marxist Hugo Chavez told the global warming junk science conference representatives that “Capitalism is the road to hell” today during his lecture in Copenhagen.

……Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez painted capitalism as the enemy of the earth — not to mention the cause of AIDS, poverty and war — in a speech to the UN Summit on Climate Change that invoked Mohammed, Jesus Christ and Simon Bolivar.

“The cause of all this disastrous situation is the destructive capitalist system,”
the Venezuelan socialist leader told delegates Wednesday.

“Capitalism is the road to hell.”

The collection of sympathetic moonbats showed their appreciation:

When he said the process in Copenhagen was “not democratic, it is not inclusive, but isn’t that the reality of our world, the world is really and imperial dictatorship…down with imperial dictatorships” he got a rousing round of applause.

When he said there was a “silent and terrible ghost in the room” and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening.

But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ – “our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell….let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.”

He won a standing ovation.

That sums it up; the Copenhagen three-ring circus was anything but a legitimate concern for the ‘environment’. It was just another political get-together for the world’s disgruntled, anti-capitalist Banana Republics, hosted by guilt-ridden developed nations.

  1. O my God. Look at the loonies fleeing, not heat but snow. I’m enjoying this scene. Obama abandoned another day of debate, turned tail and ran because he wouldn’t have landed in Washington if he stayed one more day. God has a sense of humour. It happended once before when nations gathered to build a tower to reach heaven. God came down and confounded their languages and they fled in all directions. History repeats itself. They came, they argued over nothing and they fled. God who created all things beats them in their own foolish games to deceive the world and tax them to death. But I’m enjoying this moment, when people hell bent on deceiving this world based on junk science will be loosing more followers because more snow, rain and more good weather is on its way. It also Spoiled Al Gores’s final day at Babelhagen.
