New York Democrat Charlie Rangel had some strong words for Republicans when he claimed that the Republican charge to investigate the Benghazi scandal is a non-issue for voters.
Spoiler alert: He’s wrong.
Speaking with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto on Thursday, Rep. Rangel joined his fellow Democrats in flippantly dismissing the significance of the Benghazi scandal which continues to haunt this administration:
“I think it’s tragic that the Republican Party would destroy itself in 2016 by not having one issue that the American people believe should be a priority,” Rangel claimed.
“I don’t think people, Americans, Democratic or Republicans, are going to lose sleep over Benghazi. And I really think that they’re concerned about the economy and jobs and immigration. What I’m talking about is, is that if the Democrats are the only ones standing on their feet in 2016, America has lost.”
The Dems don’t like the idea of Hillary and their boy Obama being held accountable for their incompetence and depraved indifference over the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi and the needless, preventable loss of American lives. That’s too much of a distraction from their usual talking points. And you know why? “Racism!”, that’s why!”
Obama’s destruction of our economy is bad enough. The foreign policy fuck ups are worse.
Rangel is an arrogant, racist, corrupt lowlife to begin with. Like his fellow Dems, He doesn’t feel the need to deal with the little people (rank and file voters). He’s in good company.
During one of the hearings on Benghazi, several Dems walked out rather than face the loved ones of the slain embassy personnel. The cowardice and lack of class in the Dem party is palpable.
Newsflash for Rangel: We won’t ‘lose sleep’, but you can count on our anger, disgust, and demand that you and the rest of your criminal pals in the Dem party be hauled up in front of Congress for impeachment and imprisonment.
