Where’s the equal justice???
Not only does Todd Gaziano (Congressional appointee on the United States Commission on Civil Rights) claim that the 2008 Election Day voter intimidation charge against the Philadelphia New Black Panther Party was ‘open and shut’, but that US Assistant Attorney General Deputy Julie Fernandez ordered, ‘Never bring another lawsuit against a black or other national minority, apparently no matter what they do.’

From an interview with the Heritage Foundation:
Gaziano: “The decision to dismiss the suit could not have been made at the civil rights division level, that would have to be at a higher level…..But we don’t know at this point whether the White House ordered the suit to be dismissed. Or who in the White House may have known about this. Is this just the justice department acting unlawfully, is this just Holder continuing to act unlawfully, to thwart; obstruct justice in this suit? We’ve asked, by the way, attorney general Holder numerous times to appoint a special counsel, to allow us to go to federal court if he thinks he’s right to keep this evidence from us.
And he’s refused to do even that. He’s essentially refused to allow us to go to court or refused to give us the information we need. But finally one brave soul, Christian Adams, resigned after the assistant attorney general gave misleading, and I believe inaccurate—and he believes inaccurate–testimony before the commission on May 14th….And last Tuesday June the 6th, he gave riveting testimony before the civil rights commission. …And what he told us was of the culture of hostility by many of the lawyers and others in the division against enforcing the civil rights laws against blacks or other national minorities. There are many who did not want an even enforcement of the civil rights laws, they harassed minorities who worked on such cases as race traitors. And he told us one final dramatic point; he said that the assistant attorney general’s deputy, Julie Fernandez,….instructed the chief of the voting section that they will never bring another lawsuit against a black or other national minority, apparently no matter what they do. In her view they will never bring another suit against them. And she said she didn’t care if the U.S. attorneys did it, she couldn’t control them. But in the Obama civil rights division no such suit would be filed. And that is a direct contradiction to what the assistant attorney general testified before our commission on May 14. And so we are going to subpoena Julie Fernandez, and we are going to subpoena these other officials. And I certainly hope that the attorney general stops stonewalling and stops acting un lawfully, and allows us to interview these people to get at the truth. But if they don’t, I think they’re will be a greater price to pay for this administration. The coverup is usually worse than the original offense.”

Direct quotes from Adams’ testimony:
Adams testified that there existed within the hierarchy of the Voting Section of Eric Holder’s Justice Department a clear policy of refusing to prosecute any Black-on-White civil rights violations.
“I was told by Voting Section management that cases are not going to be brought against Black defendants for the benefit of White victims. That if somebody wanted to bring these cases, it was up to the US Attorney but the Civil Rights Division wasn’t going to be bringing it.”
Adams said Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the department, was responsible for the decision to drop or “not pursue” the case. He also indicated that a written response from the department to the commission revealed that Eric Holder was briefed on the case and knew full well the circumstances and actions taken surrounding the issue.
Of the Justice Department order not to comply with US Civil Rights Commission subpoenas, Adams said:
“After being ordered not to comply with the lawful subpoena, after hearing the lies that are being said about the case, after the corruption that we had witnessed in the case, I just said that’s it, that I resign and now I’m no longer there.”

So, there it is; Obama and his merry band of racist thugs in the so-called Department of Justice refuse to enforce the law equally.
Where are those slime buckets Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, or Morris Dees to vent outrage over this travesty?
