Well, it’s official. I’m an Iraq War/Army veteran, outspoken Obama critic, anti-illegal alien, and I’m a gun owner. Therefore, I’m a “security threat” to the socialist regime in D.C.
The following excerpts are from a leftwing politicized report on “rightwing threats” courtesy of the DHS (Department of Homeland
Security Stupidity) head Janet Napolitano, who is best known for being among other things, a pro-illegal alien hack.
Obama’s totalitarian government has targeted every single group or individual who raises hell over his Marxist policies:
From the report. p. 3:
(U//LES) Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use. Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers.
Didja get that? If you have problems with Obama’s tax/spend/bailout, and his pusillanimous foreign policy (pandering to America’s enemies), then you’re a racist.
Assigning a thinly-veiled “threat label” to Tea Party and bailout protesters:
(U) Exploiting Economic Downturn
(U//FOUO) Rightwing extremist chatter on the Internet continues to focus on the economy, the perceived loss of U.S. jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors, and home foreclosures. Anti-Semitic extremists attribute these losses to a deliberate conspiracy conducted by a cabal of Jewish “financial elites.” These “accusatory” tactics are employed to draw new recruits into rightwing extremist groups and further radicalize those already subscribing to extremist beliefs. DHS/I&A assesses this trend is likely to accelerate if the economy is perceived to worsen.
And woe is you if you support getting American citizenship the legal way:
From the report, p. 5:
(U//FOUO) Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point,
and recruiting tool. Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.
And he’s reserved a section for animosity against military veterans on p. 7:
(U) Disgruntled Military Veterans
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry out violence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today.
Big Brother will keep an eye on dissent; p. 8:
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months to ascertain with greater regional specificity the rise in rightwing extremist activity in the United States, with a particular emphasis on the political, economic, and social factors that drive rightwing extremist radicalization.
The latest idiocy from the DHS prompted a response from the American Legion: http://ourvoice.legion.org/story/1543/legion-dhs-americans-are-not-enemy
Want some real terrorist threats, Napolitano?
How about radical, violent, pro-illegal alien groups like AZTLAN, MeChA, and La Raza? Islamic groups CAIR, Nation of Islam, Arab-American Action Network, and Muslim Brotherhood? Eco-terrorist groups like Earth First and Earth Liberation Front or “Animal Rights” activists like PETA?
A commenter on Little Green Footballs brings up an interesting point:
There was a left wing report published by the DOE in April 2001 (roughly the same time frame in the Bush administration as we are in the Obama administration). However, the 2001 DOE Left Wing report is a 33-page report rich with details, to include four pages of endnotes.
Speaking of the SPLC, (John) Hinderaker took apart the claims around Iraq/Afghanistan vets in extremest groups. The original source was a SPLC report. Hinderaker exposed the data as bad within six hours of reading the report, referencing the FBI. Compare that to the thousands of man hours which went into the report, which never fact-checked the claim, not even with the FBI. What, is there a new Gorelick wall between DHS and DOJ?
This report is weak. It is like a high school level report. It is so generic to be dangerous.
Indeed, the 2001 DOE report is extensive and concise.
Here is the link to John Hinderacker’s dissection of the DHS tripe:
Tom Maguire at JustOneMinute picks apart the DHS report and the fact that they used a discredited militia story from April 2007 as justification for their ‘rationale’.
Atrocities carried out by Islamic terrorists are now referred to as “man-caused disasters”, but apparently Bamster and company have no problem calling American war veterans, Americans opposed to illegal aliens, and Americans who support the 2nd Amendment, “terrorists”.
Given the threats, intimidation tactics, and extortion of taxpayers on the part of Obama’s authoritarian state, it’s obvious who the real terrorists are.
Add me to your fucking enemies list, Janet. But don’t expect me to back down.
Welcome to the Socialist States of America.
