What else does he have have? The truth?
Excerpts from Carney’s ration of shit:
Tap dance on the IRS targeting of patriotic groups:
Q Thanks, Jay. Two subjects, starting out with the IRS issue. The IRS says it’s flagged conservative groups with names like “patriots” or “tea parties” for review, and says that in some instances that its workers inappropriately asked for the identities of donors, and it has apologized. When did the White House become aware that the IRS engaged in this? And in a tax collection system that relies on trust, isn’t the IRS’s credibility at stake here? And will the White House, as called on by Senator McConnell, call for an investigation?
CARNEY: Well, two things, Jim. I appreciate the question, and we’ve certainly see in those reports. My understanding is this matter is under investigation by the IG at the IRS. The IRS, as you know, is an independent enforcement agency with only two political appointees. The fact of the matter is what we know about this is of concern, and we certainly find the actions taken, as reported, to be inappropriate. And we would fully expect the investigation to be thorough and for corrections to be made in a case like this. And I believe the IRS has addressed that and has taken some action, and there is an investigation ongoing.
But it certainly does seem to be, based on what we’ve seen, to be inappropriate action that we would want to see thoroughly investigated.
Q Given that the President was so critical of some of these groups, both in 2010 and in 2012, isn’t it natural for the public to think that these things are politically motivated? What assurances can you –
CARNEY: Well, I think that, first of all, two things need to be noted, which is IRS is an independent enforcement agency, which I believe, as I understand it, contains only two political appointees within it. The individual who was running the IRS at the time was actually an appointee from the previous administration. But separate from that, there is no question that if this activity took place, it’s inappropriate and there needs to be action taken and the President would expect that it be thoroughly investigated and action would be taken.
Blame Bush for Obama’s abuse of power. Just brilliant, Carney. Except that the bullying and intimidation tactics have been implemented under Obama.
From a previous post:
The IRS illegally confiscated 60 million health records from an insurance company or repository of insurance records.
……Of the 10 million individuals whose medical records were taken it is believed nearly 90% live outside of California making the IRS theft one of truly national significance. The records stolen are said to include those of every state judge in California, all state court employees and “…prominent citizens in the world of entertainment, business and government, from all walks of life.” The medical information includes “… psychological counseling, gynecological counseling, sexual or drug treatment and a wide range of medical matters covering the most intimate and private of concerns.”
They wouldn’t seize that information unless they were on a digging expedition.
Obama makes a funny, with ominous overtones.
At his Arizona State University commencement speech last Wednesday, Mr. Obama noted that ASU had refused to grant him an honorary degree, citing his lack of experience, and the controversy this had caused. He then demonstrated ASU’s point by remarking, “I really thought this was much ado about nothing, but I do think we all learned an important lesson. I learned never again to pick another team over the Sun Devils in my NCAA brackets. . . . President [Michael] Crowe and the Board of Regents will soon learn all about being audited by the IRS.”
Obama has directed the IRS to focus directly on specific organizations, ie: ‘enemies’, such as the Ohio Liberty Council, now known as the Ohio Liberty Coalition, a Tea Party organization.
This kind of intimidation wasn’t done by some low level peon. Obama’s campaign did it.
More of the same lies about Benghazi, blame the CIA for redacting the truth and warping the talking points:
CARNEY: The CIA — in this case, deputy director of the CIA — took that process and issued a set of talking points on that Saturday morning, and those talking points were disseminated. Again, this was all in response to a request from Congress. And the only edit made by the White House or the State Department to those talking points generated by the CIA was a change from — referring to the facility that was attacked in Benghazi, from “consulate,” because it was not a consulate, to “diplomatic post.” I think I had referred to it as “diplomatic facility.” I think it may have been “diplomatic post.”
But the point being, it was a matter of non-substantive/factual correction. But there was a process leading up to that that involved inputs from a lot of agencies, as is always the case in a situation like this, and is always appropriate. And the effort is always to, in that circumstance, with an ongoing investigation and a lot of information — some of it accurate, some of it not, about what had happened and who was responsible — to provide information for members of Congress and others in the administration, for example, who might speak publicly about it that was based on only what the intelligence community could say for sure it thought it knew. And that is what was generated by the intelligence community, by the CIA.
……the CIA was the agency that made changes to the edits — I mean, to the talking points and then produced the talking points, first of all. Second of all, I think the overriding concern of everyone involved in that circumstance is always to make sure that we’re not giving, to those who speak in public about these issues, information that cannot be confirmed, speculation about who was responsible, other things like warnings that may or may not be relevant to what we ultimately learn about what happened and why.
Hillary’s State Department adjusted those talking points 12 times to avert any mention of her knowledge about who was responsible for the attacks and the numerous urgent requests by the American embassy in Benghazi for increased security in the wake of wide-spread terrorist violence.
He also repeated the lie Obama told during the presidential debates; Obama claimed that he called the attack an “act of terror” during his Rose Garden appearance the day after four Americans were murdered by muslim jihadists.
CARNEY: And if you look at the issue here — the efforts to politicize it were always about were we trying to play down the fact that there was an act of terror and an attack on the embassy. And the problem has always been with that assertion is that it’s completely hollow, because the President himself in the Rose Garden said this was an act of terror. And he talked about it within the context of September 11th, 2001. And then we had other officials of the administration refer to this as a terrorist act.
The exchange of emails between the officials in Obama’s regime clearly showed their knowledge of the link between the Benghazi attacks and the Al Qaeda; State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in an email to the White House and intelligence officials that, the CIA description “could be abused by members (of Congress) to beat up on the State Department for not paying attention to warnings.”
Carney had referred to the changes as “stylistic” in a press conference two days prior.
In all, the press corps bombarded Carney with 46 questions on the IRS tactics and the Benghazi debacle. In response, he blamed George W. Bush, the CIA, the IRS, Congress, Mitt Romney and, of course, Republicans. “Congress” got blamed 28 times and Republicans got mentioned 20 times by Carney as he tried to put sugar on a shit sandwich.
Up until now, the main stream media has cheerfully lip-synced everything Obama says. Now all of a sudden, they found some guts.
Had they bothered to vet Obama in 2008, they would have discovered a fucking ton of material at their disposal; not the least of which is that he is a corrupt little scumbag who shouldn’t be within 5000 miles of a political office. But since they were all in the sack with Obama, they can kiss my ass. They’re five years too late.
Were it not for the only right-leaning network in the media—Fox News—and a few conservative talk radio shows and right wing bloggers and pundits on the internet, the subterfuge by Obama and Hillary would never have seen the light of day.
So far, the only person in jail is innocent filmmaker, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, who was used as a scapegoat for muzzie terrorism. He’s nothing less than a political prisoner.
Obama and his merry band of flying monkeys have committed enough High Crimes and Misdemeanors to put them all in Leavenworth.
