This is what passes for commentary and analysis at MSNBC.
Another example of dumbassity from Ezra Klein, while giving his opinion on the fact that the incoming Republican majority will read the Constitution aloud:
KLEIN: Yes, it’s a gimmick. [Laughs] I mean, you can say two things about it. One, is that it has no binding power on anything. And two, the issue of the Constitution is not that people don’t read the text and think they’re following. The issue of the Constitution is that the text is confusing because it was written more than 100 years ago and what people believe it says differs from person to person and differs depending on what they want to get done. So, I wouldn’t expect to much coming out of this.
Over 100 years ago? Yeah, I’d say so. It was written in May of 1787—223 years ago, Klein. The Constitution isn’t really all that confusing; it’s pretty straightforward. He should read it sometime. Last I checked, the document was the basis for our Democratic Republic and system of government, which makes it binding.
100,000 sperm and Ezra was the fastest.
Ezra was the founder of the now defunct JournoList; the leftwing media cabal that formed for the purpose of pushing Obama’s agenda, defending his radical bat-shit crazy friends, and shutting down Fox News. Quite an ambitious undertaking. Too bad it failed at all three.
