DETROIT — A former Cleveland imam has been deported to Palestinian territories.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported 46-year-old Fawaz Damra, previously the imam of the Islamic Center of Cleveland in Parma – Ohio’s largest mosque. The deportation order was carried out Thursday, said Tim Counts, ICE spokesman. Damra was flown to Amman Jordan, and then crossed the Allenby Bridge to the West Bank.
Where he will no doubt pick up where he left off with his terrorist activities…..
Damra raised money in the early 1990’s for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), which the U.S. Government has designated as a foreign terrorist organization. The organization has carried out a long campaign of terror through suicide bombings and assassinations.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio successfully prosecuted Damra in 2004 for lying on his 1994 naturalization application by not disclosing his affiliation with the PIJ.
After Damra was prosecuted, ICE started removal proceedings against him.
……Evidence presented during Damra’s criminal trial show that he exploited the PIJ’s terrorist attacks during fundraising activities for the organization.
On a videotape shown in court of a 1991 fundraising event, Damra is shown explaining that, “…whoever donates…it is as if he too is fighting the holy war, and he will be rewarded like him, even if he stays home.”
During other PIJ fundraising events Damra said, “Terrorism and terrorism alone is the path to liberation.”
……a tape of a 1991 speech in Chicago became public in which Damra said Muslims should be “directing all the rifles at the first and last enemy of the Islamic nation and that is the sons of monkeys and pigs, the Jews.”
He apologized and said he made the remarks before he had any interaction with Christians and Jews.

Yeah right. Funny how those Koran passages keep getting in the way….
And not a day later:
The man chosen to replace the deported Imam Fawaz Damra at The Islamic Center of Cleveland has resigned before spending a day on the job.
Imam Ahmed Alzaree, 38, was ready to lead The Islamic Center of Cleveland’s 5,000 members on Thursday but on Monday Alzaree sent an e-mail to the center’s board of trustees resigning his post.
In the e-mail Alzaree claimed he “didn’t feel welcome in Cleveland anymore.”
You want us to roll out the red carpet for terrorist supporting Imams? Cleveland, I’m ashamed to say, may be a Democrat stronghold, but at least we have the good sense to get rid of you.
According to Fuad Hamed, Chairman of The Board of Trustees for The Islamic Center of Cleveland, a short time after the position was offered to Alzaree in September internet bloggers began questioning alleged comments Alzaree’s delivered at a sermon four-years ago at his mosque in Nebraska.
Hamed says the Imam quoted a prophesy which said at the end of time ‘The Muslims will kill the Jews’.
“I believe he thought that if he were to come to Cleveland, he would be the subject of a great deal of harassment.” said Hamed.
According to Hamed, Alzaree’s comments were taken out of context. “He quoted some of [the prophesies] in a sermon.” said Hamed, “and he says this is an end of time prophesy, so it was taken completely out of context.”
Uh, I don’t think so.
Muslim end-time prophesy says that their ‘messiah’ will conquer the world:
“It is He who has sent the Messenger with guidance, and the religion of truth, to make it triumphant over all religions.” (Koran 9:32)
The Koran 48:18-21 and 1:13 also “promise victory” over all infidels ie: non muslims.
According to the Hadith, a book second only to the Koran: “The Hour [the Day of Judgement] will not begin until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. A Jew will hide behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say, ‘O Muslim, O slave of Allaah! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!’
What’s the difference between this Hadith and Hitler’s “final solution?”
Several internet blogs also linked Imam Alzaree to a known terrorist, an allegation which Hamed says is completely untrue. Hamed says he understands why Imam Alzaree may just want to walk away.
“You really couldn’t blame the guy because he’s a young man, he’s got five daughters, the youngest one is two-years-old and the oldest one is nine. And he just didn’t want to come to a place that he felt was, you know, not welcoming him.” said Hamed.
In January, the former leader at The Islamic Center Of Greater Cleveland, Imam Fawaz Damra, was deported after lying about ties to terrorism on his citizenship form.Damra failed to disclose ties to an extremist groups.

Let’s see: Ol’ Damra just plain forgot to tell the INS he had ties to some terrorist friends back home, Alzaree probably does too, and they wonder why in the name of ‘allah pbuh’ they’re not welcome.
