Former CNN Employees State the Obvious: the Network ‘Hates Conservatives’

Former CNN contributors are pointing out what we already know: The network hates Donald Trump and conservatives in general.

Via Fox News:

Several conservative commentators who were previously employed by CNN are now speaking out against the network, claiming its current identity is “anti-Trump” instead of neutral, as it claims to be. One claims the network “openly despises conservatives.”

“Most of us got squeezed out involuntarily,” Jack Kingston, a former Georgia congressman who appeared on the network, told Mediaite. “I was there for two years and was certainly willing to continue. It was clear to me in the end that the Republicans they prefer are anti-Trump Republicans.”

Pro-Trump contributors at CNN seem to have come and gone in recent months. Last week, the network fired former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli as reports indicated he was being considered for a high-ranking immigration post in the Department of Homeland Security.

……Former Trump campaign deputy communications director Bryan Lanza left the network, claiming CNN’s only identity is “anti-Trump,” not “conservative versus liberal.”

“If you hate Trump, you tune to CNN to validate your hatred,” Lanza told Mediaite. “Not sure it’s a winning formula — and I’m validated by their last-place performance against other outlets.”

CNN’s ratings are in the toilet.  So is MSNBC’s.

From American Thinker:

There is nobody, other than President Trump, whom CNN and MSNBC hate more than Tucker.  He relentlessly mocks them, and last week, he exposed CNN’s slavish obedience to the DNC.

The culpability of these two cable news networks in promoting a hoax, employing former intelligence officials — John Brennan at CNN and James Clapper at MSNBC — to pretend to offer inside intelligence data convicting President Trump of treason, is serious.  Lee Smith, in a long and thoughtful article at Tablet Magazine, calls it “an extinction level event.”  If they were independent businesses, it might be, but both are owned by huge, wealthy conglomerates that have many other business lines to generate cash and can use the influence ownership of a cable news network provides to protect and enhance those other businesses.  Neither is likely to go the way of the dinosaurs, much though they deserve that fate.

Their collective hate of President Trump and his supporters is all they have to hang on to the slim like-minded audience that tunes in to watch their frothing rants every night.

The self-inflicted downward spiral is richly deserved.
