Stewart and Colbert are two cheeks on the same leftwing ass. Never watched either one of them and only heard about their stupidity when it was reported on other outlets.
From BizPac Review.
Fox News’ Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes has some parting words for Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart, who made ripping Fox nearly a full-time job on his “Daily Show” rantings.
Stewart is keeping true to tradition and spending his last weeks on the show slamming Fox every chance he can get, but Ailes told The Hollywood Reporter, he’s taking the “Daily” drumming as a compliment.
“As he faces the end of his career, he’s beginning to wonder: ‘Is this as popular as I’m ever going to get? Is this as much power as I’ll ever have? The one person I could never get rid of was Roger Ailes. I tried. I did everything I could.’”
Ailes rubbed it in further.
“He’s been after us for years. Occasionally we pay attention. We think he’s funny. We never took it seriously and he never made a dent in us.
“This was all a plea to his lefty friends. I think he’s disappointed that he didn’t accomplish that goal, and we, of course, supplied him with half of his comedy. It’s just a matter of disappointment.”
……Despite Stewart’s depressing worldview, Ailes thinks he will find another job – just not at Fox.
“He can’t come over here. He would depress everyone,” Ailes said. “I could get him a job. Not on air. As a stage-hand.”
