Dear Leader thinks we need to do “a little more listening” than we do sometimes in the gun debate. In other words, stop paying so much attention to individual liberties and the Bill of Rights.
Government officials and law enforcement will be exempted from Feinstein’s proposed anti-Second Amendment (“assault weapons”) ban.
How convenient. It just so happens that Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano wants to add 7000 more 5.56x45mm NATO “personal defense weapons” (PDW) — also known as “assault weapons” when owned by civilians, to her arsenal.
As a matter of fact, Big Sis did quite a bit of prep for the election in case Obama lost, including the stockpiling of 450 million hollow point bullets and tons of riot gear. Janet also wants to deploy military drones to keep tabs on the citizenry. They’re already in use at the U.S.-Mexican border, and we can see how well that has deterred illegals from traipsing across. Right.
The Second Amendment doesn’t just ensure the right of citizens to keep and bear arms, it ensures the right of protection against government tyranny.
