Hamas Attacks Israel, Netanyahu Vows Retribution

Every muzzie nation state on the planet should have been vaporized years ago.

Most of the world reacted with outrage to the deadly surprise attack on Israel by the Islamist militant group Hamas on Saturday, as Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was at war.

Terrifying scenes have begun to emerge from the conflict, with one video – which has been verified by CNN – showing a woman being shoved into the backseat of a Jeep by Hamas militants with her hands zip-tied and arms bleeding.

Scores of Israelis have been injured in the fighting and over 100 were killed.

The attack on Israel was timed to a major celebratory Jewish holiday, Sichat Torah, and came on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 War in which Arab states bombed the country on the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.

The Israeli military mobilized tens of thousands of reservists and said fighter jets are carrying out air strikes on Hamas sites in Gaza, and that it has already hit 17 Hamas military compounds.

“We are at war,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised address, declaring a mass army mobilization. “Not an ‘operation,’ not a ‘round,’ but at war.”

“The enemy will pay an unprecedented price,” he added, promising that Israel would “return fire of a magnitude that the enemy has not known.”

After Israel was besieged by thousands of rockets and dozens of Hamas militants invaded the country in the worst attack the nation has weathered in 50 years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited opposition leader Yair Lapid and former defense minister Benny Gantz to join him in an emergency government, The Jerusalem Press reports.

Hamas surprise attacks on Israel have left over 250 dead, with the toll expected to rise, and over 1,452 injured.

The IDF has confirmed that Hamas has taken hostages, with horrifying video showing women being taken prisoner.

Lapid expressed openness to joining an emergency government to manage the war saying “We must stand united against our adversaries.”

Gantz has consulted with members of his National Unity Party following a meeting with Netanyahu to discuss the possible joint government.

……Critics tore into President Joe Biden as being responsible for Hamas’ assault on Israel Saturday by providing billions to Iran, which funds and supports the terrorist group.

In September, the Biden administration allowed the transfer of $6 billion in frozen assets to Iran — which funds and supports Hamas — in exchange for the release of five Americans.

The White House stressed at the time that Iran could only use the funds for “food, medicine, medical equipment that would not have a dual military use” — but Iran waved off the terms and publicly boasted they would deploy the cash “wherever we need it.”

GOP presidential candidates quickly slammed the Biden administration as playing a role in Saturday’s unprecedented attacks.

Israel launched retaliatory strikes in Gaza:

Israel launched major airstrikes against Gaza in a rapid reaction to surprise attacks by Islamist militants Saturday that left more than 200 Israelis dead and 1,100 injured in the worst violence on the country in half a century.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war after a series of thousands of rocket attacks on Israel and vowed that Hamas, the rulers of Gaza, “will pay a price it has never known.”

Hamas said it launched more than 5,000 rockets at Israelis in the attack that it called “Operation Al-Aqsa Deluge”–retribution for an April Israeli police raid on the Al Aqsa mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, one of the holiest sites in Islam..

But many observers questioned that explanation, pointing to the enthusiastic support of Iran for the attacks, and questioning whether the pending peace effort between Israel and Saudi Arabia was a target.

The Israeli military mobilized tens of thousands of reservists and said fighter jets were carrying out air strikes on Hamas sites in Gaza, and that it has already hit 17 Hamas military compounds in the retaliation it was calling “Operation Swords of Zion.”

Palestinian officials reported 232 people were killed in the attacks, and another 1,697 were wounded. The Palestinian Health Ministry did not say if the casualties included militants or only civilians in Gaza.

As the violence raged into the night, Israel Defense Forces confirmed reports that dozens of Israelis were taken hostage and brought to the Gaza Strip, but would not specify how many, the Times of Israel reported. Reports in Arabic media indicated 52 people had been captured, the outlet said.

Like B. Hussein Obama, Joe Biden panders to Islamic terrorists and snubs our only ally in the Middle East.
