The brainchild behind this must have smoked some pretty powerful crack. When you enlist assclowns like Eminem, whose schtick is best suited for adult forums, and barking moonbat Bruce Springsteen, with his anti-military/anti war screeds, what do you expect?
From The Blaze.
Individuals turned to Twitter following Eminem’s performance on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to both defend and express outrage over the rapper’s flagrant use of the F-bomb at The Concert for Valor.
The Detroit rapper riddled his HBO-streamed performance with curse words at the concert aimed at supporting U.S. servicemen and women.
“Happy motherfucking Veterans Day,” Eminem shouted into the microphone.
Users on Twitter were quick to react, with some defending the rapper’s use of profanity and others criticizing his word choice.
You could have left out the “motherfucking” and it would have been just fine, asshole.
And of course, faux “working class hero” Bruce Springsteen wailed through his renditions of ‘Fortunate Son’ and ‘Born in the USA’. Newsflash, ya New Jersey douchebag: We serve in an all volunteer military. The draft ended 40 years ago. He’s had a real hard on for the country and the military ever since America started flexing its muscle in response to the Soviet empire and now the Islamic threat. Springsteen thinks he’s doing service members and veterans a favor by playing up to the patronizing liberal stereotypes of what and who we are. We’re either pawns, suckers, or evil partners in the “military/industrial” conspiracy.
We can and do think for ourselves and we don’t like a pretentious ass like Springsteen. Most U.S. service members are very much aware of who is genuine in their support and who is not. The leftwingnuts in the entertainment industry make the mistake of assuming they know about our experiences, simply by writing songs. It must be nice to be so fucking self absorbed.
It takes guts and dedication that a relative fraction of the population will ever know. While most of America takes a pass, only a few raise the right hand.
I can think of better ways and much classier entertainers to pay tribute to veterans, and none of HBO’s fit the requirements.

You got it right sfcmac like your post.
