Hell Just Froze: New York Times Vindicates Breitbart on Pigford Scandal

Wow, they just now got around to exposing one of Obama’s crimes.

Somewhere Andrew Breitbart is smiling.

The New York Times reported Friday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has likely enabled massive fraud in the Pigford series of legal settlements, in which black, Hispanic, female and Native American farmers have claimed to be victims of past discrimination.
The cost of the settlements, which could exceed $4.4 billion, is the result of a process that “became a runaway train, driven by racial politics, pressure from influential members of Congress and law firms that stand to gain more than $130 million in fees,” the Times notes.

Among those influential members of Congress was then-Senator Barack Obama, who made Pigford payouts a priority in exchange for political support for his 2008 presidential campaign among a coveted group of black voters in the rural South, the Times reports.

As president, Obama continued to support payouts for new groups of claimants while abandoning a review process that had been used to fight fraud. The aim was “buying the support” of minorities, according to the Times, while middlemen created a “cottage industry” in defrauding the government.

The Times investigation, led by reporter Sharon LaFraniere, vindicates the late Andrew Breitbart, for whom Pigford became a crucial issue in demonstrating the cynical use of racial politics by the institutional left to hurt the very people they claimed to be helping. Breitbart directed investigations of the Pigford fraud and championed the cause of the original black farmers in the lawsuit, arguing that many of them had been left behind while opportunistic lawyers and fraudulent claimants looted the federal treasury in exchange for votes and support.

Andrew broke the story back in 2010 with a video of then USDA Rural Development Georgia State Director, Shirley Sherrod, bragging at an NAACP meeting about the minimal assistance she allotted a white farmer because of his race.
After the shit hit the fan, Sherrod threatened to sue over the exposure. Breitbart doubled down with even more proof of her vulgar racist tactics, including those of her husband Charles, who let loose with “We must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections.” Let a white politician or pundit try that shit and watch the contingent of rabid leftwingnuts and minority sycophants scream bloody murder.

The assholes at the NYT have a lot of catching up to do with Obama’s ‘buying of support’.

The Obama regime’s graft and fraud runs the gamut.

Obama’s urban czar received thousands of campaign dollars from developers.

His campaign contributors benefited from the massive taxpayer funded bailout.

His pal GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt made out like a bandit with a new job position and payouts.

Obama paid off his union thugs for their support to the tune of $165 billion.

Harry Reid bought ObamaCare votes with our money.

Obama used fundraising and billions of tax dollars to pay for dozens of his failed eco-scams.

Sharon LaFraniere reportedly worked on the story for months and according to the article “was based on thousands of pages of court and confidential government documents, as well as interviews with dozens of claimants, lawyers, former and current government officials and others involved in the cases over the past 14 years.”

Newsflash for LaFraniere: If you and your team of investigators had bothered to vet Obama in 2008, you would have discovered a fucking ton of material for your paper; that he is a corrupt little scumbag who shouldn’t be within 5000 miles of a political office.  But since the New York Times was just one of the many leftwing rags in the sack with Obama, you can kiss my ass.  You’re five years too late, jackass.
