C’mon, you knew this would happen.
U.S. military doctors overseeing Nidal Malik Hasan’s medical training were concerned he was “psychotic” and possibly capable of killing other American soldiers, before the Army major allegedly went on a deadly shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas.
Psychiatrists and medical officials at Walter Reed Army Medical Center held a series of meetings beginning in the Spring of 2008 to discuss serious concerns about his work and behavior.
……One official who participated in the discussions reportedly told others he was worried that if Hasan was deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, he might leak covert military information to Islamic extremists.
Another official “wondered aloud” to colleagues whether Hasan might be capable of killing fellow soldiers in the same way a Muslim sergeant in 2003 had set off grenades at a base in Kuwait, killing two and wounding 14.

Yeah, the mutherfucker was so “psychotic” the Army sent him to attend a lecture series on Islam in the hope that it might clear up his “delusional” thinking about the religion.

That’s funny, because Islam is all about exactly what he did at Ft. Hood.
Who gave the seminar? Anwar al-Aulaqi?
Andrew Bast, a leftwingnut who writes for Newsweek blames “stress” and deployments which are “dangerous at best, and morally bankrupt at worst.”

Even though Hasan has never been deployed to war. Ever. Bast probably thinks Hasan got “stress” by osmosis.
And according to Bast, we, not the Islamofascist fucksticks responsible for attacking the West, are “morally bankrupt”. Bast’s intellect is bankrupt.
The BBC opines that this “raises fears for muslims in the Army”. Mark Steyn replies:
Really? Right now the body count stands at:
Non-Muslims 13
Muslims 0

Obama didn’t want anyone to “jump to conclusions” about Hasan’s extremism, choosing instead to assign that label to Tea Party protesters.

The FBI knew about Hasan’s emails to Al Qaeda, but determined they were just “consistent with the topic of his academic research and involved some social chatter and religious discourse.”

Leftard Andrew Sullivan calls Hasan’s bloodbath “a cry for help”.

Stuck on unbelievably stupid Glenn Greenwald, says it’s ‘repellent to say that a muslim yelling Allah u Akbar during a terrorist act, is suggestive of terrorism’.
http://patterico.com/2009/11/10/greenwald-yelling-allahu-akbar-during-a-shooting-rampage-is-not-suggestive-of-terrorism-and-its-repellent-of-you-to-claim-otherwise/
The trouble is, muslim terrorists often shout that phase just before they set off the bomb strapped under their clothes. The muslim hijackers of United Flight 93 yelled “allah u akbar”, just as the pasengers were about to overrun the cockpit.
But Greenwald, Sullivan, Obama, and the rest of the moonbat contingency want us to believe that none of it, not Islam, not muslims, not the atrocities they commit in accordance with their religion, has anything to do with Islamic terrorism.
They’re not that stupid, they’re just apologetic towards a culture they happen to like more than democracy.
