You know the deal.
CNN and MSNBC anchors deliberately talked over the witnesses during testimony, inserting their own spin.
From Fox News.
NBC said there was an “obvious political undercurrent” to the hearings and accused the GOP of going after the “most popular Democrat,” Hillary Clinton.
If the Hildabeast is still popular with Dems, you know they’ve hit rock bottom.
The New York Times public editor criticized her own paper’s Benghazi coverage and The Washington Post’s Twitter account inexplicably mocked those Tweeting about the case as “Chick-fil-A lovers.”
AP even called it a “GOP” hearing, to make sure readers saw it as partisan.
Lisa Meyers, NBC senior investigative correspondent, said she received several phone calls from Democrats in an attempt to undermine the testimony of Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks.
Author, Fox News contributor and Townhall editor Katie Pavlich is live-tweeted from the House Oversight Committee hearing on Benghazi:
Overheard “The last time I wrote anything extensive about Benghazi was
like, the day after it happened” -Reporter at the hearing #benghazi
Trying to get the names of the reporters, they refused to sign the press
sign in sheets “I don’t sign forms”
The Benghazi hearing got third billing on the CBS, NBC, and ABC evening news.
CNN preferred tabloid trials over the Benghazi hearing.
The New York Times downplayed revelations about the Obama regime’s reaction to the terrorist attack, burying the story on page A16. Note to anyone who still reads that rag: check the back pages for anything that may be important. That’s where you’ll find items that won’t be blazoned across their headlines but they can still claim they reported on it.
A few renegade reporters at ABC and CBS are actually calling out the Obama regime.
When it became clear last fall that the CIA’s now discredited Benghazi talking points were flawed, the White House said repeatedly the documents were put together almost entirely by the intelligence community, but White House documents reviewed by Congress suggest a different story.
ABC News has obtained 12 different versions of the talking points that show they were extensively edited as they evolved from the drafts first written entirely by the CIA to the final version distributed to Congress and to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice before she appeared on five talk shows the Sunday after that attack.
White House emails reviewed by ABC News suggest the edits were made with extensive input from the State Department. The edits included requests from the State Department that references to the Al Qaeda-affiliated group Ansar al-Sharia be deleted as well references to CIA warnings about terrorist threats in Benghazi in the months preceding the attack.
That would appear to directly contradict what White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said about the talking points in November.
In ABC’s case, they feel the heat of a collapsing propaganda effort, and now they’re forced to acknowledge the coverup.
CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson first broke away from her network’s narrative and started asking some serious questions over Fast and Furious. For that, she was berated by DOJ spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler, and literally got screamed and cussed at by White House communications director Eric Schultz.
Her attention is now focused on Benghazi, and the hierarchy is pissed.
CBS’s Sharyl Attkisson is apparently viewed by network executives as “wading dangerously close to advocacy” in her coverage of the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi… (she) can’t get some of her stories on the air, and is thus left feeling marginalized and underutilized.
Low information zombies who get their news exclusively from the mainstream media need to extract their heads from their 4th point of contact and get a fucking clue.
