PAINESVILLE, Ohio — A man accused in the shooting death of a Painesville woman, among other crimes, is set to be arraigned Tuesday.
Juan Emmanuel Razo, 35, faces criminal charges in connection with killing 60-year-old Margaret Kostelnick of Painesville on Monday.
He is also accused of shooting another woman in the arm and trying to rape a 14-year-old girl at two separate Lake Metroparks locations, according to investigators.
Razo was arrested in Concord Township after a shootout with police.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are working with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation. Officials have released few details about Razo, other than that he has been in the U.S. for “a number of years.”
“A number of years”… Figures. About 11 million of the dregs have been here ‘a number of years’ and nothing is being done about it.
Razo is accused of killing 60-year-old Margaret Kostelnik Monday in her Ravenna Road home. Earlier that day, he attempted to rape a 14-year-old girl and then shot a woman in a nearby park, Dunlap said.
……Shortly after 4 p.m., a deputy was approached by Kostelnik’s husband. He said he found his wife shot to death inside their home on the 6200 block of Ravenna Road. The house sits directly behind the area of Greenway Trail and the site of the earlier shooting.
Detectives are still working to determine why Razo may have targeted Kostelnik.

A Lake County sheriff’s deputy approached Juan Emmanuel Razo on July 7 because he was somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be. The encounter led sheriff’s officials to contact a federal agency to determine if the 35-year-old man was in the country legally.
Razo was released after “border patrol” told deputies that there was no reason to detain him, Lake County Sheriff Daniel Dunlap said Tuesday at a press conference.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies learned that Juan Emmanuel Razo was in the U.S. illegally from Mexico more than two weeks before his arrest in the death of a 60-year-old Concord Township woman.
Razo made his first court appearance Tuesday in the death of Margaret Kostelnik where a judge set a $10 million bond.
Razo pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder, but still faces possible murder and other charges in connection to the other incidents.

Razo, who spoke with the aid of a Spanish translator, told Lake County Judge Michael Cicconetti at the hearing that he doesn’t have a passport or a green card.
Cicconetti expressed frustration at Razo’s lack of documentation.
Razo told Cicconetti he has a birth certificate from Mexico, to which the judge replied, “That doesn’t help you here in the United States.”
Razo has lived in the country for five years and has no local criminal history, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.
In response to a request for information, Customs and Border Protection spokesman Jaime Ruiz issued a statement that said, “we’re looking at the facts of the case to find out exactly what happened.”
Khaalid Walls, a spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the agency “intends to take custody of [Razo] and pursue his removal from the United States.”
You should have done that when the local authorities contacted you the first time, asshole.
Razo’s illegal status may hit a nerve for many at a time when immigration is a hot button political issue. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just last month criticized Mexican immigrants, characterizing them as criminals and rapists. Trump will be in Cleveland next week for a debate.
So, while the moonbats on the Left and the RINO idiots vilify Donald Trump for daring to speak the truth about the out of control illegal alien crisis, the border still leaks like a fucking sieve, illegals continue their carnage, and nothing is being done to stop it.
