Biden’s FBI the knew identity of the DC pipe bomber in 2021:
Federal court filings indicate the Biden FBI identified the January 6 pipe bomber as early as April 2021 but did not move to arrest or charge the suspect for several years, according to an affidavit and a report released by the January 6 Select Subcommittee.
Brian Cole, 30, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with use of an explosive device and attempted malicious destruction using explosive materials. Prosecutors allege Cole planted pipe bombs outside the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters on January 5, 2021, the night before the Capitol riot. Investigators say Cole later admitted to placing the devices.
The arrest came nearly five years after the Biden DOJ’s discovery. The House Select Subcommittee on January 6th noted that in its report, the subcommittee found that an FBI case team in April 2021 identified a redacted user who had been in the area where the pipe bombs were placed using their phone.The affidavit stated that cellphone tower records from the area of the RNC and DNC’s Washington, DC headquarters showed Cole’s phone in the area of where the pipe bombs were placed, with seven “data session transactions” taking place with nearby cellphone towers between 7:39 pm and 8:24 pm on January 5, 2021. The bombs were placed near the RNC and DNC between 7:30 and 8:30 pm.
The January 2025 report from the J6 Select Subcommittee stated, “As the FBI continued analyzing large datasets from the carriers, certain devices exhibited behavior consistent with the suspect. For example, in April 2021, the case team identified a [redacted] user who was in the area of the DNC at the time the suspect can be seen on video footage using their phone. The FBI requested and received the ‘historical cell tower data’ for the user, and as of April 2021, the case team was attempting to ‘further analyze’ the user’s movements. It is ultimately unclear what happened with respect to this lead.”

The FBI arrested a man named Brian Cole in connection with the January 6 pipe bombs on Thursday morning.
Cole is 30 years old and from Woodbridge, Virginia.
According to MS NOW, the pipe bomb suspect was identified in a “fresh review of old evidence and could have possibly been arrested years ago.”
“Brian Cole is the person the FBI has in custody and whom they believe left the pipe bombs in DC on 1/5/2021, according to two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the matter,” NBC News reported.
Brian Cole will appear in court on Thursday.

The family of January 6 pipe bombing suspect Brian Cole Jr. are donors to the Democratic Party, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. An individual who is either Brian Cole Jr. himself or his father, Brian Cole Sr., contributed $3,000 to Vincent Dixie, a Democrat state Representative in Tennessee. Meanwhile, Cole Jr. has been “linked to statements in support of anarchist ideology.”
Business records associated with the Cole family’s address show Brian Cole Sr. runs an immigration bond company currently operating under the name Statewide Bonding Inc., though it appears there are prior iterations of the company under different names. In April 2025, Cole Sr. was barred from writing bonds in the Twenty-Sixth Judicial District of Tennessee after a state appeals court upheld a lower court ruling that Cole and an employee had been untruthful in their testimony to the court and failed to disclose prior bankruptcies.
Immigration bonds, such as those issued by Cole Sr.’s company, operate similarly to traditional bail bonds in criminal proceedings. An immigration bond is a financial guarantee posted by a friend, family member, or bail bondsman to ensure a detained immigrant will appear at all future immigration hearings. This allows the individual to be released from immigration detention while their case is ongoing. The bond amount varies and is determined by factors like flight risk and danger to the community.
The FBI identified Cole based on his phone pings and transaction history on his credit cards, according to an affidavit:
The FBI has identified one bank checking account and six credit cards (the “Accounts”) used by COLE. The FBI obtained records for the checking account and three credit cards for the time period January 2018 to January 2021. Three additional credit cards were obtained for the time period of January 2018 to November 2025. The FBI reviewed the transaction history for all of these Accounts.
During 2019 and 2020, COLE purchased multiple items consistent with the components that were used to manufacture the pipe bombs placed at the RNC and DNC. COLE used the Accounts to purchase these items from physical retail locations in northern Virginia, as described in more detail below:
• Both pipe bombs were manufactured using a 1” x 8” galvanized pipe with markings consistent with a particular manufacturer’s (the “Pipe Manufacturer”) product labeling. COLE purchased a total of six galvanized pipes of this size and shape on or about June 1, June 8, and November 16, 2020. The purchases were made at two different Home Depot location in northern Virginia. According to the Pipe Manufacturer, approximately 26,000 of these items from Pipe Manufacturer were sold in 2020, and over 22,000 of these items were sold to Home Depot.
• Both pipe bombs were manufactured using “end caps,” which were used to close the ends of the eight-inch pipe. The pipe bombs placed outside the RNC and DNC contained a mix of both black and galvanized end caps. The end caps had markings consistent with Pipe Manufacturer’s product labeling. COLE purchased a total of 12 black end caps and 2 galvanized end caps from four different Home Depots in northern Virginia on or about the following dates: October 22, 2019, and March 10, June 20, July 8, and November 16, 2020. According to the Pipe Manufacturer, approximately 233,000 of the black end caps from Pipe Manufacturer were distributed in 2020, including to Home Depot. In addition, approximately 179,200 galvanized end caps from Pipe Manufacturer were distributed in 2020, including to Home Depot.
• Both pipe bombs were manufactured using a nine-volt (9V) battery connector with attached red and black wires. The nine-volt battery connectors used in the pipe bombs had identifying information on the black and red insulated wires that were consistent with those distributed in North America by a known company and its predecessors (the “Nine Volt Distributor”). COLE purchased five of the Nine Volt Distributor’s nine-volt battery connectors from Micro Center in northern Virginia on or about November 12 and December 28, 2019, including cash purchases made during the December transaction. Fewer than 8,000 of Nine Volt Distributor’s nine-volt battery connectors were distributed in the United States between December 2017 and January 5, 2021.
• Both pipe bombs were manufactured using a white kitchen-style timer. COLE purchased two white kitchen timers from a Walmart in northern Virginia on or about June 3, 2020.
• Both pipe bombs used a mix of 14-gauge red and black electrical wire. COLE purchased 14-gauge electrical wire in red and black on or about May 23 and October 22, 2019, and on or about September 27, October 7, and November 24, 2020. COLE’s purchases of 14-gauge red and black electrical wire were made from one Home Depot and one Lowes location in northern Virginia.
• Both pipe bombs were packed with steel wool. COLE purchased steel wool from a Home Depot in northern Virginia on or about December 4, 2020.
In addition to purchasing each type of component used to make the pipe bombs, COLE purchased equipment that would facilitate the manufacturing of a pipe bomb. Such items included:
• Safety glasses on or about July 8, 2020;
• A wire stripping tool on or about November 14, 2020;
• Wire nuts, which are used to join wires together, on or about November 14, 2020;
• Sandpaper on or about November 21, 2020;
• A machinist’s file, a tool for shaping and smoothing metal parts, on or about November 21, 2020; and
• Protective gloves and disinfecting wipes on or about November 24, 2020.
His family has a history of anti-ICE activity, they sued the Trump administration and used Trayvon Martin’s Lawyer to fight so-called “racism”.
There was a a lot of shady bullshit on the part of investigators.
A whistleblower stepped forward in 2022 and disclosed that the FBI was withholding information on the investigation.
The FBI then used the security camera footage from the Northern Virginia Metro stop to identify the license plate of a car associated with the suspect. They never followed up.
In 2024, Biden’s FBI confiscated all the evidence and shut down the investigation.
In November the suspect was identified as a female former capitol cop by the name of Shauni Kerkhoff.
We’ll see if they got it right this time or if it’s a coverup.
