The ghetto version of the Family Feud.
From BizPac Review.
A popular anti-police protest staging area on the streets of Ferguson, Mo., became a different kind of battleground last weekend, when members of Michael Brown’s family clashed with one another over the sale of merchandise bearing his name.
The dead teen’s relatives, including his grandmother, were selling T-shirts and other products commemorating Brown’s shooting death, when his mother, Lesley McSpadden, showed up at the parking lot with reinforcements, demanding they stop, local Fox affiliate KTVI reported.
“You can`t sell this shit,” McSpadden yelled, according to one eyewitness to the Oct. 18 altercation.
The situation escalated when one of the relatives selling the merchandise asked McSpadden to prove she had a patent on the swag.
That’s when an unidentified person accompanying McSpadden assaulted Brown’s cousin, Tony Petty, KTVI reported, citing a police report.
A witness said the person hit Petty in the face with a metal object and grabbed some of the merchandise, along with a box reportedly containing $1,400 in cash, according to KTVI.
Medics were called, and Petty was taken to the hospital.
The thug kulcha ain’t beneath cashing in on the race-baiting aspects of a relative’s death. Watch for lawsuits stemming from this, or better yet, a drive-by shooting.
