As for remembering, you sure have a SELECTIVE way. Klintoon and Jimmeh Carter are with out a doubt, the two WORST presidents in history. Carter was and is an abject failure, who thought that kissing the ass of every malefactor on the planet was good diplomacy. Clinton was more absorbed with getting blow jobs from Monika than he was national security.

Don’t blame the government for record foreclosures when home-owning dumbasses keep re-financing their houses into astronomical debt. That’s THEIR fault, not Bush’s.
Aren’t you glad that OUR taxes will bail them out? How does it feel to be a Pelosi pawn?

As for Valarie Plame:

Her occupation was one of the worst kept secrets in Washington. One of the places she was “outed” was on Page 5710, 2003 Edition of “Who’s Who in America”. Doesn’t say what her profession is, but “covert” agents aren’t supposed to have their name in print.

Actually, by 2003 she was assigned as a desk jockey at the CIA and hadn’t been “covert” since 1992.

As a matter of fact, her loser husband, former Ambassador Joe Wilson, introduced her to everyone they met as his “CIA wife”.

A month before conservative columnist Bob Novak published her name, disclosing her position as a WMD analyst at the CIA, an interview with then U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, was conducted by none other than Washington Post Assistant Managing Editor Bob Woodward. During the exchange, Armitage explained that he already knew about her because Wilson ’was calling everybody’, i.e. reporters and everyone else who would listen. Looks like Joe had a hand in his wife’s “outing”.

And speaking of Joe: He became unhinged after the discovery of his lies and contrasting statements before and after Plame arranged his trip to Niger. He’s a has-been with a serious woulda/coulda inferiority complex, who used his wife to prop up his waning career.

As for lies, half-assed security…blah…blah…blah:

Clinton and Gore traded classified missile technology for Chinese campaign contributions. One of the Chinese agents, John Huang, was given unfettered, uncleared access to Top Secret documents, briefed 37 times by the C.I.A., viewed 500 pieces of raw intelligence, made 261 calls to the Lippo corporate banks, and was a frequent visitor to the White House. Millions of dollars in ILLEGAL campaign funds were funneled into the Clinton/Gore coffers. That is treason, and for that alone, both those SOBs should be UNDER Leavenworth.

James Riady, one of the Indonesian cohorts, received money that was never recorded in official Commerce Department records.

Clinton also illegally obtained FBI files on “political enemies” and lied about their existence, but they showed up on Hillary’s desk after a couple of years of being “misplaced”.

The eight year Clinton/Gore crime spree went without a hitch because Janet Reno refused to prosecute.

Abetted by Reno’s lap-dog obstruction of justice, Clinton flushed the integrity of the Office as well as national security down the toilet, and not a peep out of you liberals.

And in case you forgot: His response to the FIVE terrorist attacks against Americans during his term: ZERO. The Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, the USS Cole, Khobar Towers, and the first World Trade Center attack in 1993, resulted in Bubba biting his quivering lower lip, tearing up, and doing absolutely nothing…Oh wait, that’s right, he wagged the dog by bombing Kosovo and sending us into Somalia.

Iraq/Afghanistan:

The invasion of Afghanistan was prompted by its use as the major operating base for al Qaeda.

The invasion of Iraq was instigated by 12 years of nose thumbing on the part of a WMD-wielding terrorist-supporting megalomaniac. U.N. Resolution 1441 gave Hussein an ultimatum and us the specific authority to force compliance, by any necessary means. That included military force.

In case you didn’t know, we found a substantial amount of hidden WMD along with documents and recordings in which Saddam Hussein emphatically stated his intention to continue WMD development and deception.

Saddam Hussein, as evidenced by the WMD found, his previous use, continued willingness to use them, and the documents discovered which connected him to terrorists, was a threat. The fact remains that the inspectors got absolutely nowhere with regard to full disclosure of Hussein’s WMD program.

I’m an Iraq War vet, and I’m damned glad we not only invaded, but took out the sonofabitch and got those WMDs before anyone had the chance to use them. Had I the power, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran (for starters) would have been asphalt parking lots on 12 September 2001. But, I’m a former Soldier, not a diplomat.

Hussein wasn’t the only threat. Just one of them. But, not anymore, is he?

When you retaliate, ie: attack an enemy, it’s usually a good idea to hit them where they live and breed, as well as their allies. In the Middle East it’s something like this: Pick one.

Terrorists cross borders. They sure as hell crossed ours, didn’t they? The 9/11 attacks preceded our invasion of ME countries, not the other way around.

One of the letters we intercepted from Ayman al-Zawahiri to the now in hell Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, specifically mentioned the establishment an Islamic Caliphate in the “heart of the Islamic world”, to include Iraq.

He mentioned this as being vital to Al Qaeda’s war against Western civilization. Afghanistan was a side show. Despite this, you Dem sockpuppets keep spouting the line that Iraq is a “mistake” because it diverted our attention away from the “real war” in Afghanistan. Well, looks like Zawahiri refuted that notion. Zawahiri also said that Afghanistan is “just the groundwork and the vanguard for the major battles which have begun in the heart of the Islamic world.”

Newsflash: Even after victory is officially declared in Iraq and Afghanistan, this war ain’t over by a long shot. Terrorists are funded, aided and supported throughout the Middle East. The Islamofascist vision of a world Caliphate will continue unless we kill them all off.
Our policy should be simple: you attack us, we annihilate you, your supporters, your country, everything.

That’s how you fight a “jihad”. But, I’m a former Soldier, not a politician.
