New York Times Hack Smears Veterans as “KKK”

The vicious stupidity of the Left keeps getting worse. Kathleen Belew, the author of this tripe, is a faculty member Northwestern University.  She “teaches courses on the American Vigilante, Histories of Violence in the United States, the Vietnam War, and comparative race and racism.”

Academic intelligentsia at its finest.

From The Army Times.

Veterans advocates are denouncing an opinion piece in the New York Times that draws links between veterans and white supremacist groups in attempting to explain the actions of the suspected gunman in a recent and deadly shooting outside a Kansas Jewish center.

Frazier Glenn Cross, also known as Frazier Glenn Miller, is accused of killing three people outside a Jewish community center and Jewish retirement community on April 13, according to media reports. The Fayetteville Observer reported that Miller is a former Ku Klux Klan leader as well as a retired master sergeant who served in Army Special Forces. He was forced to retire in 1979 for distributing racist materials.

In the opinion piece published in the New York Times, Kathleen Belew wrote that while the majority of veterans are neither violent nor mentally ill, veterans have a history of joining right-wing extremist groups. She cites a 2009 Department of Homeland Security Report linking the return of combat veterans to Ku Klux Klan membership.

By the way, that 2009 Enemies of the State assessment was concocted by Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano. She  listed Iraq/Afghanistan veterans, Obama critics, gun owners, and Americans who want our immigration laws enforced, as ‘domestic threats’.   That list was later expanded to include political opponents, white middle class Americans, and Americans who covet individual liberties.  By their definition, that makes me a threat.

What about black and Hispanic veterans? No studies or OpEds about their affinity for gangs?

It’s unlikely that Belew holds the same hatred for the likes of Nidal Hasan, the radical muslim zealot who murdered 13 Soldiers at Ft. Hood.  He was never even deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.

The real threat—atrocities and terrorist attacks carried out by muzzie terrorists in the name of Islam—are now referred to as “man-caused disasters”.  The government and the military hierarchy are  rife with Islamofascist apologists.

Belew also dropped the Timothy McVeigh meme in her diatribe. Last I checked,  Timothy McVeigh did not have a world-wide network of fanatical comrades. He and Terry Nichols carried out the Oklahoma City bombing by themselves. Their single act of terrorism pales in comparison to the well funded and organized Islamofascist jihad.
Matter of fact, they’ve got quite a world-wide body count.

The Left conjures up the KKK hoodies and other boogeymen whenever they want to demonize the military, the GOP, and the Tea Party.

Belew is totally ignorant of the fact that Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Democrat and the KKK was the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party throughout the Jim Crow South.  The Dems have quite a racist history to contend with,  and they’ve done everything to deny, cover up, and revise the chronicles of their bigotry.

Remember Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV)?  He was a Grand Kleagle in th KKK.

Expect nothing less from this filthy rag. Shilling for Islam, Obama, and the Left, is ‘everything that’s fit to print’.
