Applicants for President-elect Barack Obama’s Cabinet get ready to chronicle your life story.
Those interested in joining Obama’s administration have to pass an extensive background test.The questionnaire, the New York Times reported, includes 63 requests for personal and professional records, some covering applicants’ spouses and grown children as well, that are forcing job-seekers to rummage from basements to attics, in shoe boxes, diaries and computer archives to document both their achievements and missteps, the Times said.
Obama wants applicants to “list all aliases or ‘handles’ you have used to communicate on the Internet,” and asks people to include any e-mail that might embarrass the president-elect, along with any blog posts and links to their Facebook.com pages.
Hoping to weed out anyone with ties to companies at the center of the $700 billion bailout, question 18 of the Obama application asks whether “you, your spouse or any member of your immediate family” have been affiliated with Fannie, Freddie, American International Group, Washington Mutual and any other institution getting a government bailout.
“President-elect Obama made a commitment to change the way Washington does business, and the vetting process exemplifies that,” Stephanie Cutter, chief spokeswoman for the Obama transition office, told the Times.
Traffic fines of $50 and less don’t have to be reported.
He couldn’t pass his own background check. He’s got so much corruption, terrorist ties, and shady friends, that a background check would have forbidden him to even THINK about running for Senate.

2. What compelled you to become friends with terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn and use them for political support?
3. Give full disclosure of your and Ayers’ activity with The Woods Fund and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Disclose why you pressured the University of Illinois at Chicago from releasing the Annenberg Papers; documents that describe the relationship between yourself and Ayers, as well as your ties, both financially and ideologically, to radical organizations.
4. Why do you have Islamic terrorist friends, supporters, and collaborators like:
Hatem El-Hady, chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen.
Mazen Asbahi and Jamal Said, two members of the Muslim Brotherhood, a fundamentalist group known for funding Islamic terrorists.
Monir Edwan a Palestinian campaign fund raiser operating from within the Gaza strip.
Rashid Khalidi, a PLO operative and co-founder of the radical Arab American Action Network, whom you praised at a tribute dinner, while he stood up and read an anti-Israel ‘poem’.
5. List the reasons why you allowed radical individuals and groups like The New Black Panther Party, pro-Palestinian lobbyists, the Socialist Party, the Communist Party, and the Nation of Islam, to operate freely on your campaign website.
6. Why did you lie about your affiliation with ACORN, a radical organization that comitted voter fraud, and reaped substantial financial gains by misusing taxpayer dollars for political ends?
7. Why did you sic your campaign staff on critics and threaten lawsuits against who asked legitimate questions about your past and current associations, and your socialist ideology?
8. Why did you lie about your Aunt Zeituni Onyango, who still lives in Chicago in spite of her illegal alien status and refusal to leave the U.S. as ordered by the court?
9. And last but certainly not least, is there any reason why you should not be prosecuted for any of the above?
