Obama: “Oh, to be ruthlessly efficient like Frank Underwood in ‘House of Cards’

Dreams from Dear Leader.

Obama has made no secret of the fact he’s a big fan of the Netflix series “House of Cards.”

But the commander in chief said Tuesday he wishes real-world Washington worked in the same “ruthlessly efficient” manner it does in the hit show, which stars Kevin Spacey as the cunning congressman and top political power-broker Frank Underwood.

During a meeting with top CEOs, Obama asked a Netflix executive whether he brought “advance copies” of the show’s second season, due out next year, before comparing actual D.C. with the fictional version depicted on screen.

“I wish things were that ruthlessly efficient,” Obama said of the political landscape seen in “House of Cards”

Of Kevin Spacey’s character — who manipulates other lawmakers and top officials on a daily basis, allowed a fellow congressman to die from carbon monoxide poisoning and cheats on his wife regularly, among other questionable behavior — Obama said: “This guy’s getting a lot of stuff done.”

Obama also fantasizes about being the brutal authoritarian leader of China, where dissent is met by imprisonment and execution. Unfortunately for him, America’s founders made things really difficult for a petty little tyrant to impose his will.
Obama comes from Chicago; the land of union thugs, gangsters and corrupt politicians. He tries to run D.C. and the rest of the country the same way. He rules by spite, arrogance, abuse of executive power, and threats.

C’mon GOP. Show some guts. Impeach the bastard.
