Obama Snubs Funeral of Army General Murdered by Al Qaeda

Well, one has to have priorities, and the military is at the bottom of his list.

Many Americans were disappointed in the lack of White House presence at this week’s funeral for the highest-ranking officer killed in combat since Vietnam.

Major General Harold Greene, the 2-star general killed in Afghanistan August 5, was laid to rest Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery, according to myfoxdc.com.

It was a beautiful service that was only missing one important attendee:

The President of the United States.

Also missing were the vice president and the secretary of defense.

Photos of the service, posted on the Internet from news services all over the globe, showed a riderless horse, the general’s children touching the casket and the flag presented to his widow by Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno.

There were no photos of government officials because they weren’t there.

To the family of General Greene: Don’t feel bad folks. Obama won’t pick up the phone to call the families of the victims of Fast and Furious and Benghazi to express his condolences, but he’ll give sympathy to the families of of terrorists and dead rappers, and he’ll call gay NBA players and gay NFL players  to congratulate their “look at me” publicity stunts.

Quite frankly, he’s too self-absorbed to worry about silly things like the wartime murder of a military leader.
