On Newt Gingrich and ‘Fail’

On 8 March (Sunday), during a Meet the Press interview, Newt Gingrich expressed his dismay at the desire of sane Americans who hope Obama fails.

“You’ve got to want the president to succeed,” said the former House Speaker. “You’re irrational if you don’t want the president to succeed. Because if he doesn’t succeed the country doesn’t succeed… I don’t think anyone should want the president of the United States to fail. I want some of his policies to be stopped. But I don’t want the president of the United States to fail. I want him to learn new policies.”

Gingrich insists that it’s “irrational” to hope Obama fails but okay to hope he changes his mind on policy?

What the fuck, over? Since Obama’s policy is to transform our Democratic Republic into a Socialist nightmare, you’re goddamned right I hope he FAILS.

Newsflash, Newt: Stop criticizing Rush for pointing out the obvious and start focusing on how we can make sure the Socialist-in Chief, who isn’t about to “change” his mind, doesn’t succeed.
