Outrage Grows Over Bergdahl’s Treason, Obama’s GITMO Swap

One look at Bowe Bergdahl’s father, and you can see where he gets his douchebag tendencies.

The father of the U.S. Soldier released in a prisoner swap with the Taliban in Afghanistan on Saturday ended a White House news conference praising Allah with the most frequently used phrase in the Quran and questions continue to build over the wisdom – and legality – of the trade.

Appearing with Obama in a brief Rose Garden event, Robert Bergdahl, the father of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, recited “Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahm,” according to the Daily Caller.

In English, that means, “In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate.”

When he finished reciting, the president hugged him.

Islamofascists declared victory, and gushed over Bob Bergdahl’s sickening words of praise.

Update: Security violations are standard operation for the SCOAMF, especially when it involves sympathy for deserters. Obama had Bergdahl’s parents take part in a series of secure video conferences with senior commanders as well as White House and State Department officials. Last I checked, that’s a security breach allowing access to classified information to unauthorized persons.

Bergdahl’s fellow Soldiers have a few things to say about him:

U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl‘s family is understandably happy that he is now on his way home, having been released by his captives in exchange for five senior Taliban terrorists held at Guantanamo Bay.

But Soldiers who served with Bergdahl say he is a deserter, and his actions cost the lives of fellow Americans.

“I was pissed off then and I am even more so now with everything going on,” former Sgt. Matt Vierkant told CNN. “Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him.”

CNN reported on the fallout from Bergdahl’s controversial disappearance:

“At least six Soldiers were killed in subsequent searches for Bergdahl, and many Soldiers in his platoon said attacks seemed to increase against the United States in Paktika Province in the days and weeks following his disappearance.

Vierkant, who served in Bergdahl’s platoon at the time he went missing, said the Soldier should face a military trial for desertion.

Bergdahl’s desertion constitutes “serving with honor and distinction”, according to National Security Advisor Susan Rice. Yeah, she’s the same scrunt who appeared on 5 different Sunday talk shows to push Obama’s Benghazi talking points. When Obama needs to trundle out someone to push his insipid bullshit, she always gets the nod.

And oh by the way, it seems the reason that Obama used the 5 GITMO pigs as bargaining chips, is that supposedly Bergdahl was a sick little boy:

California Congressman Duncan Hunter has challenged the Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s assertions that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s health depended on quick action.

Hunter, in a strongly worded letter issued Monday to President Obama, claimed the SecDef had no way of knowing Bergdahl’s physical well-being.

“Several sources with knowledge of the situation have informed me that any specifics about [his] health were nearly impossible to access, unless otherwise stated by the Taliban,” Hunter wrote nothing that the source of information was an “untrustworthy partner.”

Hagel, who was traveling to Afghanistan to meet with U.S. troops, said notice of Saturday’s action was not relayed to Congress because of its urgency. He said intelligence indicated that Bergdahl’s “health was deteriorating.”

From all the videos and photos I’ve seen, the son of a bitch looked fairly healthy. His Taliban pals fed him enough falafels and tea to get by.

Bergdahl gave the enemy some useful information. Sgt. Evan Buetow told Fox News that the attacks his unit endured got more methodical and precise after Bergdahl’s desertion.

Twitter users called out Robert Bergdahl’s glee at the release of his traitor son and lack of remorse for the Soldiers who were killed trying to track him down.
