CNN’s Piers Morgan actually blamed Ambassador Stevens for his own death when discussing the latest Senate report that holds the State Department accountable for not preventing the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi.
Piers Morgan: “When you actually get into the weeds of this pretty lengthy report, it also is very clear that one of the people who may be most to blame for not reacting to the threat and for increasing security despite being urged to repeatedly was the ambassador himself. And obviously you don’t want to speak ill of a man who was killed in such appalling circumstances, but is it fair to also say that he as the ambassador should have done more to react to direct warnings that he was given on numerous occasions?”
Sen. John McCain: “Well, I think it’s important to point out that he had asked for additional assistance. What he turned down was additional military assistance. But he certainly sounded a number of warnings about the deteriorating situation, including ten terrorist organizations, outfits, that were right there in Benghazi. So I think that Christopher Stevens, Chris was very aware of the threat. He did make the State Department aware of that. And the only time he really turned down help was when it was uniform military assistance that was offered.”
Obama denied outright an urgent request to send more security to the embassy.
Here’s a link to a video of Fox News reporter Bret Baier reading (at about 06:45 into the video) the emails from Ambassador Stevens to the State Department, one of which is just 4 hours prior to the attack. Each one plead for more security in the face of growing terrorist violence in the area.
Oh, and by the way, some SpecOps did make it to Benghazi, further eroding all the lies Hillary and Obama told about no time or resources to send for help.
The blame, accountability, and responsibility rests squarely on Obama and Hillary, who showed nothing but depraved indifference from the first sign of trouble to the horrible aftermath.

The New York Times blamed GW Bush for 9/11, instead of Bubba Clinton, who was ultimately responsible for giving Al Qaeda the green light.
