Excerpts from President Trump’s speech:
…….Under our leadership, the United States will be respected again. No nation will question our power. No enemy will doubt our might. Our borders will be totally secure. Our economy will soar.
We will return law and order to our streets, patriotism to our schools. And importantly, we will restore peace, stability and harmony all throughout the world.
But to achieve this future, we must first rescue our nation from failed and even incompetent leadership. We have totally incompetent leadership. This will be the most important election in the history of our country. Under the current administration, we are indeed a nation in decline. We have an inflation crisis that is making life unaffordable, ravaging the incomes of working and low income families, and crushing just simply crushing our people like never before. They’ve never seen anything like it.
We also have an illegal immigration crisis, and it’s taking place right now as we sit here in this beautiful arena. It’s a massive invasion at our southern border that has spread misery, crime, poverty, disease and destruction to communities all across our land.
…..So tonight I make this pledge to the great people of America. I will end the devastating inflation crisis immediately, bring down interest rates and lower the cost of energy. We will drill baby, drill.
…..But by doing that, we will lead a large scale decline in prices. Prices will start to come down. Energy raised it. They took our energy policies and destroyed them. Then they immediately went back to them. But by that time, so much was lost. But we will do it at levels that nobody’s ever seen before. And we’ll end lots of different things. We’ll start paying off debt and start lowering taxes even further. We gave you the largest tax cut. We’ll do it more now.
…..On the wall, we were dealing with a very difficult Congress, and I said, oh, that’s okay. We won’t go to Congress. I call it an invasion. We gave our military almost $800 billion. I said, I’m going to take a little of that money because this is an invasion. And we built most of the wall is already built, and we built it through using the funds, because what’s more, what’s better than that? We have to stop the invasion into our country. That’s killing hundreds of thousands of people a year. We’re not going to let that happen.
I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created, including the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which would have never happened if I was president and the war caused by the attack on Israel, which would have never happened if I was president. Iran was broke. Iran had no money. Now Iran has $250 billion. They made it all over the last two and a half years. They were broke. I watched the other day on a show called Deface the Nation. Has anyone seen it?
And they had a congressman who was a Democrat say, well, whether you like him or not, Iran was broke dealing with Trump. I told China and other countries, if you buy from Iran, we will not let you do any business in this country and we will put tariffs on every product you do send in of 100% or more.
……Inflation has been a killer for our country. No matter what you make it, it doesn’t matter because inflation is eating you alive. People that we’re putting away money that were making great wages, the highest they’ve ever made, but they were putting away a lot of money. Now they are just being destroyed. They’re not putting away anything that barely living. They’re going into savings accounts. They’re taking out their money to live because of inflation. Inflation. Remember, it’s called a country buster. You can go back to Germany from 100 years ago. You can go back to any country that suffered great inflation. We’ve suffered the worst inflation we’ve ever had. But go back and see what’s happened to those countries. We’ve had the worst inflation we’ve ever had under this person.
……You know that right now, Afghanistan is one of the largest sellers of weapons in the world. The selling the brand new, beautiful weapons that we gave them. But think of it, he actually said to me, but why? But why do you show me a picture of my home?I said, you’ll have to ask your people or one of your wives.
But he could figure it out. And for 18 months we had not one attack on an American Soldier by the Taliban, 18.
And then we had that horrible day where Soldiers were killed. I was not there because of a ridiculous election, but we had that horrible attack. And, they also gave up Bagram, one of the biggest bases anywhere in the world. Air bases anywhere in the world, the longest runways, most powerful, hardened, thick and runways. We gave it up, and I liked it not because of Afghanistan. I liked it because of China. It’s one hour away from where China makes a nuclear weapons and, you know, has it now. China has it now. We were keeping that.
And now China is likewise circling Taiwan and Russian warships and nuclear submarines are operating 60 miles off the coast in Cuba. Do you know that the press refuses to write about it? If that were me running this country and we had nuclear submarines in Cuba,
I will tell you the headlines every day would be what’s wrong with our president? You don’t even hear this. You’re not hearing about this. Russia has nuclear submarine and warships 60 miles away. Mr.. Congressman from Miami, by the way, happens to be here, correct.

……The attacker in Pennsylvania wanted to stop our movement, but the truth is, the movement has never been about me. It has always been about you. It’s your movement. It’s the biggest movement in the history of our country by far. Can’t be yourself. It can’t be stopped. It has always been about the hard working, patriotic citizens of America.
For too long our nation has settled for too little. We settle for too little.
We’ve given everything to other nations, other people. You have been told to lower your expectations and to accept less for your families. I am here tonight with the opposite message. Your expectations are not big enough, not bigger than.
It is time to start expecting and demanding the best leadership in the world. Leadership that is bold, dynamic, relentless and fearless. We can do that. We are Americans. Ambition is our heritage. Greatness is our birthright. But as long as our energies are spent fighting each other, our destiny will remain out of reach. And that’s not acceptable. We must instead take that energy and use it to realize our country’s true potential and write our own thrilling chapter of the American story. We can do it together. We will unite. We are going to come together, and success will bring us together.
It is a story of love, sacrifice and so many other things.
And remember the word devotion. It’s unmatched devotion. Our American ancestors crossed the Delaware, survived the icy winter at Valley Forge, and defeated a mighty empire to establish our cherished republic. They fought so hard they lost so many. They pushed thousands and thousands of miles across a dangerous frontier, taming the wilderness to build a life and a magnificent home for their family. They packed their families into covered wagons, trekked across hazardous trails, scaled towering mountains, and braved rivers and rapids to stake their claim on the wide open, new and very beautiful frontier.
When our way of life was threatened, American patriots marched on to the battlefield, raced into enemy strongholds and stared down death and stared down those enemies to keep alive the flame of freedom at Yorktown, Gettysburg, and Midway. They joined the roll call of immortal heroes.
He also honored Corey Comperatore, a rally attendee who was killed in the shooting, displaying the man’s fire department jacket and helmet on stage and holding a moment of silence.
Eric Trump’s speech was more fiery and didn’t hold back when he recounted what his father has been through, his accomplishments, and what is happening to the country:
…….Our movement followed the pattern of so many that came before us. First, we were ignored. Then we were laughed at. Then they thought us. And then together we won. From that moment forward, America came first. America started winning again. America became respected again. But with every movement, there’s a counter movement. In the view of the radical Democrats, America is a source of the world’s problems. As a result, they believe the only path forward is to erase history and forget the past. They want to destroy the monuments of our forefathers. They want to disrespect our flag, burn the stars and stripes that represent patriotism and the American dream.
…….They want to disrespect our National Anthem by taking a knee while our armed forces lay down their lives every day to protect our freedom. They do not want the Pledge of Allegiance in our schools. Many of them don’t want one nation under God. The Democrats want to defund and disrespect our law enforcement. The Democrats want an America where your thoughts and opinions are censored when they do not align with their own. President Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for and it must be protected.” This is a fight that we are in right now, and it is a fight that only my father can win. My father ran not because he needed the job, but because that he knew hard working people across this great country were being left behind. The media mocked these Patriots in the flyover states in which they lived.
……..They ignored the Trump flags. They ignored the millions of MAGA banners and barns painted in red, white, and blue. The silent majority had no one fighting for them in either party. Their so-called leaders were bowing to China, bribing Iran, and spending more time worrying about how they’d be received by the elites in Paris than how Americans would provide for their families in Pittsburgh. Our family lost friends but it only pushed us to fight harder. My father pledged to every American in every city, state, and town that he was going to make America great again. And so began the great American comeback. Almost immediately taxes were slashed, regulations were cut, and the economy soared to new heights, heights never seen before. Wages went through the roof. Unemployment reached historic lows especially for black Americans, Hispanic Americans and women. Trade deals were ripped up and renegotiated. Lights were turned back on in abandoned factories across our country.
……..Trillions of dollars were repatriated back to the United States which had been sitting in foreign lands for far too long. Once again, America became the envy of the world. And with that renewed strength came leverage. The President demanded that our allies pay their fair share for the defense of the Western world. My father rebuilt the mighty American military, adding new jets, aircraft carriers. He increased wages for our incredible men and women in uniform. He expanded our military defense budget to $721 billion per year. America was no longer weak in the eye of the enemy. The moment President Trump ordered special forces to kill some of the deadliest terrorists on the planet.
……..The day the mighty MOAB was dropped on insurgent camps is that day America took a stance in never be defeated by the enemy. al-Baghdadi, Soleimani, dead. Over and over, issue after issue, the economy, the wall, the military, trade deals, tax cuts, Supreme Court Justices, VA hospitals, prescription drugs, school choice, Right to Try, moving the embassy to Jerusalem, peace in the middle East, never-ending wars were finally ended. Promises made and promises for the first time were kept.
……..Biden has pledged to stop border wall construction and give amnesty and healthcare to all illegal immigrants. Biden has pledged to defund the police and take away your cherished second amendment. My father on the other hand delivered the largest tax cuts in American history, knows if you do not have a border, you do not have a country, and will always support law enforcement and your right to keep and bear arms. Every day, my father fights for the American people, the forgotten man and woman of this country, the ones who embody the American spirit, which is unlike anything else in the world. It built in New York city skyline. It built the Hoover Dam. And soon under my father’s leadership, it will send Americans to Mars.
One of the most impressive appearances was by model, entrepreneur and reality TV star Amber Rose, who credits becoming a Trump supporter to her father and explains how motherhood shaped her views:
……I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump as President of the United States.
Now, you may be wondering why I’m up here telling you this. I’m no politician, and I don’t want to be, but I do care about the truth. And the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies. So I’m here to set the record straight.
The first person I knew who supported Donald Trump was my father. I was shocked. My entire family is racially diverse, and I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist. My father said, “No, he’s not, Amber. What are you talking about?” And when I insisted, he said, “Prove it.” So, to prove my father wrong, I did my research and looked into all things Donald Trump. People have to do their research. I watched all the rallies, and I started meeting so many of you, his red-hat-wearing supporters.
I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, gay, or straight—it’s all love. And that’s when it hit me. These are my people; this is where I belong. So I let go of my fear of judgment, of being misunderstood, of getting attacked by the left, and I put the red hat on too. Thank you. Love you too. I never felt more free and more love for my country than I do now.
I want to thank my father, who’s in the audience tonight, for opening my eyes. He served over 20 years in the US military. Thank you for your service. I love you, Dad. I love you so much. Thank you.
When I met the President and Melania for the first time, he was kind and generous and funny as hell—very funny. The First Lady was gracious and smart, with a smile that will brighten up any room. If you’re watching this tonight, you know our country is in trouble. Just like me, when you go to the store and buy food for your family, you’re shocked. When you fill up your gas tank, you’re pissed. I know I am. And when you turn on the news, you are just exhausted. Inflation is out of control, and you know in your heart it was not like this under Donald Trump.
My message to you tonight comes from a humble place. The left told me to hate Trump and, even worse, to hate the other side—the people who support him. When you cut through the lies, you realize the truth: American families were better when Donald Trump was President. We were safer, wealthier, and stronger. A vote for Donald Trump is a vote to put money back in our pockets and good food on our kids’ plates. Or as Trump would say, it’s a vote to make America great again.

Trump’s granddaughter, Kai made a great, heartfelt speech:
Former President Donald Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter Kai Madison Trump said Wednesday night she wanted Americans to know “the side of my grandpa that people don’t often see” in an unscheduled addition to the speakers’ lineup at the Republican National Convention.
“To me, he’s just a normal grandpa. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking, he always wants to know how we’re doing in school,” the Republican presidential nominee’s eldest of 10 grandchildren said in what her father, Donald Trump Jr., revealed was her first speech.
“When I made the high honor roll, he printed it out to show his friends how proud he was of me,” she said.
“He calls me during the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going and tells me all about his — but then I have to remind him that I’m in school and I’ll have to call him back later.”
The ex-president, 78, looked on and smiled as she spoke to a rapt audience.
“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he’ll try to get inside of my head and he’s always surprised I don’t let him get to me,” Kai Madison, whose mom is Vanessa Trump, said.
“But I have to remind him, I’m a Trump, too.”
“Even when he’s going through all these court cases, he always asks me how I’m doing,” she continued.
“He always encourages me to push myself to be the most successful person I can be. Obviously, he sets the bar pretty high, but who knows, maybe one day I will catch him.”
“Grandpa, you are such an inspiration, and I love you,” Kai added.
“The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is. He’s very caring and loving. He truly wants the best for this country, and he will fight every single day to make America great again.”
Trump’s inauguration on 20 Jan 2025 and his next term will be a pleasure.
In 2021, I made predictions about the consequences of Biden’s installment. All of it has come true. All of it. The economy is in shambles. Illegals invade the country daily by the thousands. National security has been eviscerated. The military has been reduced to DEI mush. His foreign policies are such a joke that our enemies are laughing their asses off.
After 4 years of the disastrous Biden regime, America needs to be great again.
